Stealth limits how far the enemy can see you. Raising stealth will make enemies less likely to see you. -------------------- Muffins n' Hell|Muffins n' Hell: The Muffins Are Back Again I have an addiction to Spiderweb games. It doesn't make them less LIKELY to see you. It raises the threshhold of what is required to make them notice you. -------------------- Slarty vs. Desk • Desk vs. Slarty • Timeline of Ermarian • G4 Strategy Central "Making poorly-sourced claims is not the same as determining something." Stealth items are supposed to decreases the radius of the search where they will detect you. So stealth +1 item means you can be one square closer than without the item. Worked real well on mine triggers, until Jeff moved one in the Warded Sea Caves. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

Iffy, there is a very real difference between what you said and what I said. "Less likely" is inaccurate, plain and simple. That may be the end result if you are totally careless about how close you are to an enemy; however, since that IS under your control, likelihood never enters into things at all. -------------------- Slarty vs. Desk • Desk vs. Slarty • Timeline of Ermarian • G4 Strategy Central "Making poorly-sourced claims is not the same as determining something." I hate to take sides, but Iffy might have been taking it literally. In real life if you are stealthy they would be less likely to see you, but the same holds true with your arguement, if you are stealthy you need to be closer for them to notice you. -------------------- Let's all just shape gazers and hope it goes away.
