Synergy states that in combination/collaboration, the whole is greater than the sum of the parts, a principle which is powerfully relevant in life. How come I don't seem to have any friends at all in these stories? :( Relationship is everything. Last time I checked there was no "Halloween" in the Avernum/Exile world, and the Geneforge world seems utterly holiday-less, most likely due to the remoteness of the areas and the, you know, epic warfare.
