I believe it comes from my affiliation with Redwall and the creatures therin. I made a BoE scenario based on it. At least the first time I appeared with it, I was letting out a Redwallerian battlecry. Was that all the way back in Episode 1?

It's not really my weapon of choice, it's what Dikiyoba has blessed me with. I seceretly wish I was a nymph. Shhh, don't tell anyone.

I can understand that last wish. Nymphs are forever young and beautiful. Though I don't doubt that you aren't beautiful, it's just the forever beautiful part.

Huh, I used to be big into Redwall too. I loved the ferrets, even though they were bad, and the badger warlords. I eventually became disenchanted when I realized all the plots follow the same outline. But I still don't see why a battle axe. wouldn't a mother of four be more inclined to wield something a little more feminine?

Hahahahahahahah!

Maybe duct tape would be better, but a battle axe would be pretty useful.

Not if she were a badgermum. And foxes were the best characters in those books.

The last five or so books should never have been written, but the Redwall series does a good job keeping (primarily) younger readers occupied for a long time.

If it makes you feel any better, pretend it's an axe of +3 huggles. :P

Dikiyoba actually isn't entirely sure where the axe comes from anymore.

Chapter 16: Google Can Be Your Friend

The nice thing about doing this one chapter at a time (for Dikiyoba, anyway) is that the feedback keeps future chapters interesting. Dikiyoba originally planned to have SPOILER in the last chapter, decided it wasn't a good idea, saw Ephesos' post, changed Dikiyoba's mind, and stuck it in this chapter.

Gah. Being in Diki's story is like saying "Look mom! I'm famous on the internet!" Not something that you would want to admit to everyone.

I dunno, most mothers would be scared to death that they would see their kid in a Joe Francis compilation. This seems much more palatable by comparison.

The original quote would have had a lower case letter, and the brackets explain the difference.

Hmmm; not all that much actually happens in this chapter. It's got all kinds of nice little vignettes and bits of dialogue, and minor connection actions that move the plot along or explain stuff that has already happened. But nothing significant actually occurs in the latest installment.

A good story can carry some lulls, of course. And maybe there's even a good reason, in the overall pacing scheme, for this one. We'll see.

You know, it's not that I am, or my character named me, is particularly bad at fighting. Capable, certainly, but I just really, really don't like violence. Any kind of conflict makes me edgy and uncomfortable. It goes with my peaceful nature. But I wouldn't say I'm bad. If necessary, I can hold out on my own. Necessary just doesn't happen often, because I can always hide and run.

Naturally, about now I'd comment on how you're the writer and make the call whatever the direction.. but I really want you to make me more perfect. In every way! :P

I do have a staff in the story, don't I? Or was it daggers? I can't remember anymore. Should re-read the third one again.
