Sometimes the best way to create a new order is by first creating total chaos.

Way to be making another one of these Diki. You are mad.

"Nymph" is the term for an early stage of insect development. It's somewhat similar to larva, but has slightly different meaning. (Insert Wikipedia link here.)

Be careful with a word, as you would with a sword,
For it too has the power to kill.
However well placed word, unlike a well placed sword,
Can also have the power to heal.

I think the irony of casting Tully as an historical figure I admire is greater.

Nail some sanity onto him and throw him into the fluffy turtle pit!

Edit - To comment on the latest chapter...
quote:
Iffy was one of the first ones awake the next morning. He sat up. "I'm so tired of being made fun all the time. Everyone thinks I'm an idiot. Well, I'll show them. From now on, I'll be good and strong and brave and smart and... and... good!"

Rakshasi picked up a can of spam that was lying on the ground and hurled it at Iffy's head. "Will you shut up? I'm trying to sleep."

Iffy winced as the can narrowly avoided his head and stood up. "I guess I'd better be quiet too," he whispered dramatically.

"I can still hear you," Rakshasi said through gritted teeth.

"Sorry," Iffy squeaked. He stepped into the kitchen, immediately setting off one of the Silent Assassin's traps. Four water balloons scored a direct hit on his head. "Ow! Hey! Wet!"

This mocks me, but in a funny way. I laughed when I read this.
Oh, and "Ah! What the hell?!?" would be a more likely response from me.

The suspense is building!

Why do I have a sneaking suspicion that Dintiradan knows who Ecksian is?

I'm currently on the board for EOU Local 666. Come to think of it, I don't think he's paid his dues for the past year.

That, or he's my non-evil twin. One of the two.

Nalyd suspects that he was only included in the beginning chapters in order to stop him from whining. True or not, it worked. :)

Hmm, unexpected. I really have no idea how this is going to turn out, when usually I'm pretty good at predicting what is going to happen soon. This is the best good fiction I've read in months, maybe years.

Now, Nalyd presumes that public opinion polls will have little effect on the administrators' decision.

Wrong, Dikiyoba could easily do so.

I agree, in reference to myself.

Edit: Got rid of superfluous word choice.

You'd think, one of these days, we'd get things organized enough that one wouldn't need to go trudging around to find one person or another.

A simple intercom would do nicely: "Paging all healers, all healers. Ephesos needs reviving, I repeat Ephesos needs reviving... and Tyranacus too... just incase."

Plus, where are the security cameras? The meddle detectors? The thumb-print-retina-scan-voice-analysis entry to the moderator room?

On a different note, there's still pleanty of room at TrueSite if you need someplace to store surplus elements or, say, an extra summoning machine.

PS. I'm really enjoying the story. Loved the deathmatch blurb. (;
