You know my name makes me very easy to fit me in as something, whether it be fodder or otherwise. I would just like to have to do something with guacamole. Just consider it.

On a different note, what is this I hear about editing? Is it not liked in the story and/or real life?

Well, I don't have much of a Spiderweb personality, so I suppose that it's application as a neutron source (in this case, a stream of steady, neutral commentary) might fit me. It's rare, which might in some way correspond to post count. Also, its bluish glow calls one to think of the moon, and thus Artemis, and thus the charecter of Actaeon. Admittedly, it's a stretch, but I thought I'd give it a go. I'd really like the element. If you permit another slightly less scientific argument, it was discovered by the French: the largest part of my heritage. If anyone would like to suggest something more suitable, I'm open to suggestions.

Edit: As of this post, my post count is 289.
Surely, the presence of its atomic number is no mere coincidence

They may not work on Dikiyoba but surely they move your heart, don't they?
Aww. My girlfriend sent me that picture a little while ago. Cuuuuute!!! ;)

Jewels, I am pleased to see that you have resurrected my original tradition of elemental 'elitism' as regards requiring at least one actual connecting fact to claim an element, and have dispensed with the destructive democracy of the days of Dikiyoba.

Virtually immune to acid of any sort, tantalum is known for its ability to remain unaffected by nearly any reagent. Yet it is capable of containing vast reserves of energy, making it a common element in modern technology. However, it is not without danger - tantalum dust is highly explosive when flamed, and could be used to greatly intensify the deadliness of nuclear weaponry. And Ta could also stand for Taliesin.

A bit long, but it's a start. I don't expect to be included for some time yet - although I've been a Spiderweb fan for a long time, I only recently joined the forums.

But.. but.. but but but! I don't want to start reading through those damn elements again! Wiki doesn't even necessarily have much info on them! :( Don't I get any slack for figuring out an element that fits for Khoth? Come on, just one more time. I'm a respectable oldbie, not some new-to-the-groove ,-hardly-know-their-names kinda person.

Also, I'm lazy. :(

*Becomes an enabler*

I grant Riibu Germanium. In its pure state, this metalloid is crystalline, brittle, and retains its lustre in air at room temperature. Beautiful but fragile. The oxide form also has the unusual property of having a high refractive index for visible light, but transparent to infrared light. Invisibility anyone?

Afterthought: Let's not forget her 'connection' to our resident German. ;)

I think that element is perfect for you.

Europium is the most reactive of the rare earth elements; it rapidly oxidizes in air, and resembles calcium(Fatman) in its reaction with water(Spiderweb). Europium ignites at about 150°C to 180°C and the metal dust presents a fire and explosion hazard.

I took a look at the Wiki article on Holmium. Apparently, it is a substance that is highly magnetic and used in atomic control rods. I've always been (or like to think I have been), a person that can settle a dispute fairly and quickly, eg. control the release of energy.

When I'm on vacation and going around an abandoned mine or some such thing, I always collect a little pile of knicknacks which I really don't do anything with. I remember that I brought home about 85 lbs of flourite from a mine in BC. This is a property of something magnetic, as a magnetic object attracts certain other objects with little discerning between them.

Oh, and the puppy eyes don't do much for me. My heart is pretty well a lump of granite.

Awww, Jewels, Iffy didn't even attempt to explain his element! Harsh.

Minuscule amounts of neptunium are found as radioactive waste. Similarly, I post with very small frequency, and although no one has pointed this out, I think a lot of my messages are kind of a waste of space! (They tend to be at night (PST) and sleepiness-induced, this post included.) Radioactive waste is difficult to remove, and thus there is no delete button for these inconspicuous mini-spams. (Like, you know those newbish posts that really annoy you but that you can't reprimand someone for because they haven't transgressed in any way? I know I've made those.) Plus, neptunium is silvery. And, uh...when I look in my bathroom mirror at night my eyes look a little silvery. That's all I got for silvery. Finally, it is a solid. As am I, partially.

Feel free to downsize that paragraph...if it's worthy of your table, of course.

Jewels, that sounds nice. Thank you! *huggles Jewels* :) It sounds fitting.. With a bit of a stretch one could even connect the vintage stompbox sound part in rock, with my favorite type of music.. But I guess that'd fit better, if I actually played something. ^^ Or the bit about its use in sterling silver alloys, and the few jewelries I've done. Although those were actually made of glass, but hey! Jewels is jewels. :P

Of course, what this means for my character, I best not think about. I just hope it won't be too short... :\

I didn't relize that the people (err, did I say people? :P ) had to basically match the elements.
That matches Iffy perfectly.

You have a problem with the GIFTS? Seriously, they're a gift (pronounced GIFTS) from God (pronounced JV).

Now, Grime is indeed a good character. Standard behavior for his age, really heroic in his on sort of way. May his karma have him live on as me. Because I'm just a conglomerate of various other souls on their way to the Afterlife, a sort of Purgatory. Thus the various different names. You wouldn't believe the various times I've been Tyranicus.

That's okay, Jeff created something even more annoying than GIFTSs and GIFTRs. Avernum 5 has a new annoyance. I wonder if the game will be released in time for it to find it's way into this episode.

Are you trying to make Iffy and I seem like a couple of stupid idiots? That is what it seems like.
Oh, and Iffy would have suggested regular muffins. He isn't stupid.

But overall, very interesting. Also, I wonder what Filth Finder's reaction will be...
