Dikiyoba.

Just in case there is a question, Dikiyoba is not some freakin' sauceress who can make things appear out of thin air. My post was always there, and it was your weak internets which couldn't deal with its superior coding. Yeah.

It wasn't an RPG. Salmon just went to his local 7/11.

Practicing, using tumbleweed at 80mph as zombie stand-ins. Assumptions are that zombie will move more slowly than tumbleweed in a 40mph crosswind.

How said zombie-stomping is exclusive to RPG's? There are thousands of games that involve killing zombies in some way, form, or fashion.

Knowing Salmon, it's not RunEscape. Anyone with a brain could tell that that game is the worst thing since Homeland, with a community of three-year-olds having a temper tantrum. Not a high point in humanity.

Given the mention of a sauceress, I'd say that this is Kingdom of Loathing.

Read this today. Nicely done.

And I got some spa-, erm, lines. I love how my character's kind of just picking up all of the in-jokes and stuff. "Lessee...Tyranicus is gonna die, right?" "Oh, I see, we don't like Iffy very much."

Aside from rocks, maybe I'd chuck some EZ-Kill™ Shards of Fire. (Not sure what they are? It's explained on the label. Batteries included.)

Are there wild (not controlled) zombies in dikiyoba's story world? Because if there are maybe that's where salmon went.

It's probably where a lot of people went.
And Shard, that post went a bit "zig-zag".

No... all of that fit into the context of the Scripts... How he wanted a weapon change, how he read it today, how he loved the lines.

Yay, I'm not dead, uh, yet.

*Thinks those crickets might be lucky*

I'm feeling a bit lost, though. I've never really been able to picture what the forums look like as a building/fortress/collection of connected rooms. At least not the inside. Anybody got a blueprint?

Me neither. When we're said to go to a different forum, I usually think of members (can't really picture them well either) walking into the rectangle containing a forum's info on the front page and finding themselves in a different world. But I picture the whole forum as a sketchy little castle thing on the side of a paved road in a land where it is always nighttime. I usually see the interior of the building as one big hall with the forums being little rooms off to the sides containing a meeting table, some potted plants, and a fridge.

This is weird because Dikiyoba described the different forums (BoA = green, GF = cave, something like that), but I picture them as rooms sometimes regardless. I guess it's because I can't comprehend different environments being in the same giant building.

Geneforge the game should be imagined as the setting for geneforge to forum. Likewise for the other games.

The Mod board had been adequately described by Diki.

Tech support is basically a featureless room, much like the actual forum.

General seems to be imagined as a common room as found in college dormitories or perhaps the Student Union.

Outside the forums is the interwebs, which are dangerous. Stay in the forums.

Just think of it like the Luggage from the Discworld series: bigger on the inside than on the outside. Not that difficult to comprehend. :P
