She dies quite easily as she charges up to the front. I think you can go to Fort Remote and talk to whoever is in charge there to remove the quest. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

Babelfishing posts may become the new form of spamming replies. The CoC may have to be revised to take this into account. Or at least the version the Jewels controls. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

If you have a creation with you then it's possible to never personally strike a blow. You will find it hard to get through several areas without combat. Mental magic to improve the effectiveness of daze and strong daze, charm and mass madness will help you avoid some fights and gain "friends." Too bad this doesn't work with undead. I tried it once and found that it's possible to do most of the Forsaken Lands but it's takes a lot of reloads later on in the game. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

Email Jeff with as much information as you can remember about your purchases. Name you bought them under, address, which games you have and which ones you might have bought. Send any email addresses that you might have used if you bought them online and then wait for a reply. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

I tend to use elite warrior for anyone that uses weapons and fast on feet to go first and get the occasional extra AP. Playing on torment it comes to positioning your party so melee attacking monsters have to come to you while you weaken them with range attacks. Missle attackers have to be dealt with quickly by closing and reducing their effectiveness. Anything that makes an attacker lose attacks is needed. Slow is really helpful, but use the wait command so you cast it last in a round. Otherwise they can use haste to negate its effectiveness. I could make a demon waste it's turn rebuffing. Summon spells are sometimes helpful, but I didn't use them much until A4. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

That would be part of the RP whether the mages could restore the Vale to keep their power, find the cause, or find a substitute. The Anama would be working to block these aims. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

It depends upon the game. In GF1 there actually is a use for flawed crystals beside selling them. Jeff varys which items are needed for quests and item ingredients that can be crafted into something useful. The best thing to do is consult a walkthrough to see what is recommended. I once crawled past the spare tire and the sidewall of the car from the back seat to the trunk to unlock the trunk from the inside. I guess the gap was less than 18 inches (0.5 meters) Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

Not here, but Exile games occasionally had bugs that require using cheats to move around obstacles. The worst was having your money go negative. Cheats can cause unusual side effects. I found a use for insomnia was computer games, although some of the things I do half asleep require too many reloads. I got through most of Geneforge 4 on less than 5 hours a night. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

It depends upon how much you want to spend on spells and training. Dorikas' escape is scripted so he could return as the main villian in Avernum 5 (just released this week). Now you get a chance to make up for your Avernum 4 frustrations at his cowardly retreat. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

Without seeing your IQ results, I can't classiify your mental ability. You don't need a mortar and pestle to make potions. You might have gotten the idea from Nethergate because of the Sylak item. Considering how few inventory slots you have, you should get rid of it. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

The Celts aren't meant to open the door to the room where the sprite stashed the scroll. After you reach the door, you are supposed to make your way back to talk to the Sidhe. There is an opening stone available in the Hollow Hills later in the game and you can find one in the Roman fort in the guest quarters. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

Weapons don't do different damage depending upon the race using it. A slith spear is equivalent to an iron spear for damage level. You just find them dropped by sliths in combat. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |
