Don't forget how many betas it takes to just get the graphics correct for the terrain.

The name you save under in game doesn't show up in the file name of the save game. All saved games are named sav0 to sav19 with sav19 being autosave and sav18 being quick save. The first in game save slot correspond to sav0 and so forth.

So look at the save file that corresponds to the position that you saved under. If you have only one saved game then the others will be the installation created temp files.

It's a matter of how evidence is routed. The DNA testing is sent to the prosecution to be copied and sent to the defense. The defense accepts in good faith that it's recieving all the evidence unless it has reason to believe that there is a mistake and can afford to do independent testing.

Don't forget all the false rape cases out there. The Duke University lacrosse team case had DNA evidence "proving" that they had the right people until it came out that the prosecuter was lying.

If you want to add the death penalty, then you need to toughen the standards of proof.

You first need to try talking to him. You also need the quest from Lord Ruhal. After that you need to move near him to examine him and try talking to him again. Be prepared for a fight.

Windows version should have them in My Documents. It should be fairly obvious as a named folder with Avernum 4 and the 20 save folders inside it. The only other spot is with the application.

I agree more with the Trakovites than the others. I think Jeff will take that ending for the start of GF5 since only with a stalemate can either side still win. The other endings leave one side in power with frightening results.

Probably bone developement since low gravity would lead to weaker bones and a fetus wouldn't be able to exercise like an adult to compensate.

Well the defendant can't argue that there was consent when the victim was unconscious. It pretty much is two separate counts with rape and the drugging each considered as different crimes.

You need at least 2 extra over starting in strength for fighters so they can wear some armor without encumberance.

In Avernum 4 and earlier games there isn't much point in raising endurance at the start. The increase in health is barely noticeable and the effect on resistances isn't much better. Running a glass cannon with points to attacking skills is better even for a fighter. Augmentation and later essence armor spells will give more health than adding to endurance until the middle of the game.

Spellcasters should have enough levels in mage and/or priest to have all starting spells. Then increase intelligence to have more spell energy.

Which operating system are you using since Windows and Mac store the information in different folders?

A saved game folder that hasn't had a game stored in it still has placeholding files. Checking creation dates is a quick way to spot files.

On the items page for the character will be a current weight of items being carried and a encumberance weight that when exceeded will lower your AP.

Being able to decide at the beginning where to place skill points means making a more powerful character at the start. A spellcaster that has higher level spells is the best example.

Most of those extra skill points aren't needed because the skills aren't that useful. First Aid is better in A4, but in the earlier games it was too low at the start to be used, could only be used once a day, and could be skipped the whole game without being noticed.

Gravitational conditions only need to be close if you are trying to reproduce Earth's environment. A viable colony can exist under a variety of conditions, but it would be easier for most people if they didn't have to adapt to it.

Colonization would allow for the survival of the species from the idiots that are running our current home into the ground. We aren't likely to do interstellar travel for colonization for about 50 years, but there isn't any good reason we can't move to the Moon and Mars. It would be easier than try to build space stations since raw materials would be available instead of putting everything into orbit.

Sending manned expeditions to Mars allows for having a thinking person on site that can adapt to changing conditions. Remote probes have to work when they get there and are limited to what we thought of before sending them. Having a geologist on one of the last Moon expeditions led to finding rock samples that previous expeditions overlooked due to inexperience.

The UBB has a weird bias to letting people have their old PDNs back. It takes a few weeks and sometimes months before you can use it again. Synergy had that problem earlier in the year when he used Synergy67 instead.

There's nothing that the admins can do to fix the problem.

Yup. It's not exactly the same system (each spell corresponds to a specific combination of reagents, rather than one item corresponding to one spell), but it's the same principle.
The earliest Ultima games didn't use reagents. They did have some items that were used for creating ladders in dungeons.

Ultima II had an in game game where you went through time to fly a spaceship in combat against enemy ships to become a space ace.

I'm pretty sure this is a problem with your current copy of the game. You will have to back up your saved games, deinstall the game and reinstall it.

I'm sure that Synergy wiped out the grove during his destroy all game, but he may have skipped the servant mind.
