This year Komo Zoo had a special thing we went over to. The schools have parties for the kids, downtown has an early 3-5 treating, and 6-8 is the official door to door treating time. With the exception of that - and I'll go ahead and throw the quotes around it here - "candy" that's wrapped in orange and black wax paper (I assume it's still made, or at least passed on), most candy has a limited shelf life, and as such, depreciates. My halloween festivities occurred last Friday at a party in Georgetown with live DJs and bartenders. Would have been exceptional, had they not run out of beer by 11, but that crowd tends to run with Red Bull-and-vodkas.
