I won't complain about having some demons if they have motivation (and it sounds like they do). However, I will grumble to myself if it features mainly demons/undead built for a middle-to-high level party. I do have four priests (well, three priests and a priestess) and they will use repel spirit mindlessly and I will be very bored. However, a good plot and non-repelable enemies should make it very interesting. Dikiyoba. Edit: Typo. Since this is in the Avernum Trilogy Forum, Dikiyoba assumes that all questions are about Avernum. How did you first find Avernum? Shareware CD. What game did you first play? Avernum 2. Why did you play it? Because it was on the CD and Dikiyoba was bored. What is your favorite game? Avernum 2. Edit: Typo. Originally by Zeviz: quote:Hmm. Dikiyoba's conversations tend to go like this: Diki's character: What is that? Whatever it is, I want it! Dikiyoba: Oh look. Another canister. No, you may not use it yet. If you do, you will not be able to train in it later. It's all about raising stats to ridiculous levels. Diki's character: It is? But I thought I was a loyalist, not a Barzite. Dikiyoba: You're unaligned so that you can trade and train with as many people as possible. Diki's character: Okay. Dikiyoba: Hey! There's a robe on the ground! It's worth two coins! Get it! Get it! Diki's character: Wow. Only one hundred more of these robes and I can buy a new spell! Edit: Extended script. Do not mock the Uni-Drakon! It is a creation so powerful that only throwing it into the bubbling cesspool that is the Geneforge will destroy it. And anyone who does that shall attract the wrath of the Uni-Drakon's older sibling, the Ur-Noob! Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

The fact that this is the weekend and not a business day probably has something to do with the delay. In the meantime, run a singleton through the demo on torment mode or something similar to keep you occupied. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Sadly, I spend a lot of time on Spiderweb and yet I still don't do too much in the RP. I purposely picked a faction and a place where I could get away with that, though. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

No, the Sholai don't appear in G2 at all. (Edit: They are mentioned by name in dialogue twice, but that's it.) For G2's setting and plot, that was acceptable. However, the one Sholai thrown into G3 didn't seem as acceptable. (I haven't actually played past the demo of G3, but I did read through all the scripts.) Dikiyoba wouldn't mind being a Sholai rather than a Shaper in G4. [ Sunday, April 09, 2006 09:20: Message edited by: Dikiyoba ] Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

I would guess that floors types 194 and 195 are custom floors. Perhaps there's something incorrect in the floor's script that is causing the error. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

The character editor is towards the bottom of the main screen. Once there, load up your game. If you want to just give yourself the item, go to "Advanced features" and select the "Give an item" option. After that, a little window will pop up. Type in "478" and you will recieve the opening stone that you will normally get as a reward from the GIFTS. You are generally advised not to mess with the advanced features. Take my advice at your own risk. Is Dikiyoba the only one who doesn't mind the GIFTS? Dikiyoba wouldn't want one as a pet, of course, but Dikiyoba doesn't feel the urge to wipe the GIFTS out of existance. Edit: Typo.
