Yes. The games only care about what the statistic is, not when it was raised. There's only one little trick to choosing when to raise stats. Sometimes, you can find a trainer to raise a stat. But if you raise that stat to too high a level, the trainer won't be able to train you. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

1. Brush up on your spelling and grammar. 2. Please stop making pointless topics. This one has a hint of legitimacy but I doubt that it will survive. Edit: Okay, I will be nicer to this topic. Hasty decisions aren't always the nicest ones. I participated in an Easter Egg hunt today. It was fun. A thousand plastic Easter Eggs picked up in six minutes. I only got three out of a thousand. Dikiyoba wonders what the Easter Bunny will bring Dikiyoba this year. Last year it was orange Converses. That was very exciting. Okay... How did you wind up with a five-star rating? A llama or two are often put into the same pen as sheep to help watch over them. Dikiyoba really shouldn't have created this post, but the fluffy turtles made Dikiyoba do it. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

You've given people less than 24 hours to reply to a topic that not many people will feel the urge to reply to. Dikiyoba still thinks that A4 is suffering from an editor/stat oversaturation. It's hard to get a strong response because of it. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

That means all chickens, cats, cows, dogs, sheep, dogs, and small lizards are incredibly boring. Oh, and children too. Dikiyoba recalls that townspeople attack on occasion. Remember the Easter Egg of A2? Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Technology is close to reaching the point where the gender of children can be chosen before they are concieved. This would solve the sex-based abortion issues, but wouldn't help sex-ratio issues any. Dikiyoba wonders whether this technology would mess up gender ratios in first-world countries and, if so, in which direction. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

I like unlimited arrows because I use them so rarely that I don't think about it. I tend to only use them when spells fail. But I didn't have much against finite arrows either, since each character never carried around more than ten at a time. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

We've been "genetically engineering" for thousands of years. We've created new and better breeds of crops and animals by selecting and breeding the specimens show the most promise. Before, genetic engineering was trial and error (and up until fairly recently, genes weren't understood). Now we have the techniques to do it faster, more purposefully, and with more options than ever before. In a way, we've always been in the world of Geneforge. It's just that we've been in the pre-Geneforge/canister era. Now we're in the "research on Sucia Island" era. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

It's 200, at least in G1 and G2. I clear every item out of a zone. Then I put trash and other worthless items into 19 piles of 10 without a problem. That's 190 items. So Dikiyoba gets really close to the limit all the time. But Dikiyoba never actually reaches it. Edit: Typo. GoldenKing, the faction change is way, way too abrupt. If you want to kill Tygra and come up with a new faction, do it slowly. Show Tygra stewing in his own madness while his charm wears off on all those surrounding him. Create a new character to rebel and plot against Tygra and take charge of the new faction. Allow the Order of Krell to infiltrate the Hunters. Then you can show the assassination of Tygra and the rise of the new faction. On a side note (should it all work out) Dikiyoba is looking forward to having the twenty infiltrators stumble across Ephesos' temple. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Yes. Put them anywhere where you will remember where they are and where you can come back to easily. (In G1 and G2, this is any cleared section. In G3, it would probably be the docks.) However, each section can only hold about two hundred items. Dikiyoba has never hit the 200 item limit. The game slows to a crawl if too many items are dropped all in one location. Thus, Dikiyoba keeps items in two or three sections. Dikiyoba is quite the packrat. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

I liked Rakkety Tam, but it felt like it was missing something. I liked The Outcast of Redwall, too, despite its massive chronological problems. The only one I really have a grudge against is Triss. What could have been the most exciting part of the plot was stuck into the epilogue. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

If no one sees you steal, then all is well. If you are seen stealing, the townspeople will notice. If you steal too much (and this varies from town to town), they will attack you. Obviously, it's bad if they attack you. Dikiyoba is so pleased to be without a standard signature again! Dikiyoba apologizes for the off-topicness, but this burst of happiness had to go somewhere. Edit: Sig change. [ Monday, April 03, 2006 17:22: Message edited by: Dikiyoba ] Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

In no particular order (except for the final paragraph): ----- Originally by Ephesos: quote:No! Bad Ephesos! Don't even think about it! ----- I made a few final updates to the story. The appearances page has been cleaned up, Aran has earned a different review, the blatant ad photo has been updated, Spy-there's gender has been corrected, and I've added a links page. The links page is mainly for me and isn't finished yet. ----- There may be a few useful (or many or none) comments left, but I think this topic has fulfilled its purpose. Please allow it to retire peacefully without throwing spam at it. ----- I've cleared my signature, so here is the link to the script. It can also be found in my profile. SpiderWeb: Attack of the Noobs If anyone does have any suggestions, I am open to minor changes (say, getting a better dying line or fixing a typo). ----- Originally by Archmage Alex: quote:Dikiyoba is holding you to that this time. Dikiyoba has no idea how, but Dikiyoba will think of something if it proves necessary. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Originally by Alec: quote:No followers. All my faction is trying to do is stay alive. The last thing I need to do is create another huge army and cause massive death counts. If I do, it'll become a habit. Originally by Infernal666hate: quote:I just assumed that my vagabonds have heard rumors or will hear rumors of undead to the west. They wouldn't know your faction by name, but I thought the summary (and just the summary)should be as clear as possible, as opposed to "vague rumors about undead somewhere west of the Abyss" After GoldenKings latest post, Dikiyoba is suddenly very tempted to have Dikiyoba's faction fall through a portal that can transport them through time, space, and all logic, land in front of Tygra, and kill him and his undead. Unfortunately, that would be cheating. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

No, it's Jess Squirrel from Redwall/Mattimeo. Treerose is from Mariel of Redwall/The Bellmaker. Dikiyoba owns most of the Redwall series. Thirteen of them, in fact. The last few in the series are not deserving of shelf space or rereading. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

The script is now finished. Read and then discuss. You may list your favorite line, your reaction to the latest scene, things that could be done to improve the script, or suggest a more preferable way to die. Go. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

You saw a spoiler. I've been altering the appearances page as I write the final scene, which isn't up yet. Anyone in italics isn't dead yet. Someone post below so Dikiyoba can bump the thread when the final scene is up without having to double post. Dikiyoba is strange like that. Edit: Technically, there's six. The surviving mods have been overlooked again. [ Sunday, April 02, 2006 13:51: Message edited by: Dikiyoba ] Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |
