-What is the weirdest thing you've ever seen? A spider egg sac hatching. They hatch and run off all at once in a remarkably short time. -What is the weirdest thing you've done? Once, I was encouraged to jump off a small cliff into a river. I spent close to an hour trying to work up the nerve to do it before deciding to go down. That was when I discovered that a rattlesnake came up behind us and blocked the only path back down from the cliff. Yet I chose to sneak by the rattlesnake rather than jump and I even picked up a piece of shed skin on the way down. -What is the most humiliating thing you have ever done for money? A few stupid bets for small change, nothing I really remember. -What is the most humiliating thing you would ever do for money? I would either wear a dress or go to a dance, but I want several thousand dollars up front. -If you could travel back time, what historical event would you like to witness “live” and why? I would like to go to the end of the Cretaceous Period and see what really killed the dinosaurs. Of course, I would like to live through whatever it was as well. -If someone made a movie about your life, what would it be called? Dikiyoba. It be a comedy featuring absolutely no romance whatsoever. -If you were a meal how would you describe yourself? An acquired taste. -Have you ever gone a whole day without wearing underwear? Not since I was toilet trained. -What is the stupidest thing you’ve ever bought? Whatever it was, it wasn't so stupid that I remember it. I don't buy much stuff, though. -If you had to kill a SW member, who would it be and why? You mean I can only kill one? Well, if I killed Lenar Labs, that would mean I killed the person who killed everyone. If you had to pick between TM or Alec, who would you pick? and WHY?(You can't ignore the question, you can't answer neither, and NO it's not for killing.) TM, because I might as well get some BoA scenarios to play. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

It's not really in danger of being shot. It's all an elaborate ruse designed to distract the attention of passersby so that they can be shot. Dikiyoba thinks it's sad how easily these fluffy kittens can be corrupted. Edit: Typo. Ouch. Only three games. And two of them were from Spiderweb Software. Dikiyoba used to spend a lot of time outside. Alas, those days are now gone. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Well, I never found it useful. My party blesses/hastes/shields itself before going around every unexplored corner. (And then they go wander outside for a while after going around several unexplored corners.) I don't use it. Then again, I don't use exactly half of the spells in the game. Repel spirit (level 3) is probably one of Dikiyoba's favorite spells. With it, haste (level 3), and a good line-of-sight, Dikiyoba's party can hit anything undead eight times in a single round. In A2, Bind Foe at level 2. What's the point of putting something to sleep if attacking it will just wake it up? Bind Foe at level 1 was more effective for me. Of course, Sanctuary was a pretty useless spell as well. Dikiyoba is still thinking about the most boring monster part. Ogres in A2, maybe? Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Whenever I hit the limit, I just make note of it and use the character editor to set my coins down to zero. Then if I ever need money, I edit some of it back. Dikiyoba calls it the First Avernum Bank. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Freewebs is working for me again, so I've moved all the scenes over to it and updated the appearances page. You will notice that there are two new scenes up. ----- Two of you were kind enough to leave comments on the script itself. Originally by Redstart: quote:Originally by Croikle: quote:----- Originally by Slartucker: quote:No, not intentionally. It just happened. That's my super-consciousness at work. ----- Originally by Arancaytar: quote:It's been called "SpiderWeb: Attack of the Noobs" since the very beginning. Yes, I was refering to the pictures. I figured that since I was quoting a line with references to the pictures, everyone would understand that I was talking about the pictures. Apologies for the lack of clarity. Dikiyoba will just say two, because nephilim seem to be built much like humans. And sliths have none because they are reptiles. No one has mentioned anything about how important characters are. Obviously, this story is about the characters, since we all know the plot. I want to be introduced to the main characters over the course of the next few chapters. Who are they? Where are they from? Why are they together? How do they interact? That sort of stuff. Quite frankly, little bit of philosophical musings in the prologue doesn't hurt in this case. It's not overly complex or absurd and it tells you a lot about Erika Redmark. Dikiyoba. Originally by Thralni: quote:No, they don't. The nephil have muscles, but not nipples. Originally by Delicious Vlish: quote:I never asked. Besides, I don't want your helium. If I ever want a high-pitched voice, I'll go inhale a GIFTS. Dikiyoba thinks that if humans have one life and cats have nine lives, nephil must have five. Let's hope no nephil becomes the arch-enemy of Avernum 5. Otherwise, Avernum 6, 7, 8, and 9 would have the same villain attempting the exact same thing. The next two scenes are up. Unfortunately, I still can't edit my Freewebs site, so I was forced to put the next two scenes on my other site. Originally by Wonko the Sane: quote:And yet, you're three-quarters of the way there. Dikiyoba combined razordisks and reaper batons to form reaperdisks. Exactly what they look like and how they work is still open to interpretation, though. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

We can't even figure out whether or not sliths have nipples. Nor can we figure out where nipples are on vlish. What makes you think we can answer this one? Dikiyoba is not really sure Dikiyoba wants to meet those other people (and other cats) that Benamas knows. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Very little is there, obviously. What is there is extremely well-written and intriguing. So, I guess I'm part of the active audience. You don't need to fear rotten tomatoes. Great. Now Dikiyoba has to figure out what to do with all the rotten tomatoes. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Remember how I said I wouldn't be able to do a scene today? Well, I didn't realize how literally that would work out. I can't edit my site. I can look at it and I can log into my account, but I can't edit it. I shall see what tomorrow brings. If worst comes to worst, I have a backup site. Edit: I managed to edit the counter paragraph, but this took five or six tries spread out over a few hours to do so. 36 hits in about twelve hours. Of course, about six or seven of those hits was me. ----- Originally by Ephesos: quote:SILENCE! ONLY THE UR-NOOB MAY SPEAK IN CAPITAL LETTERS, YOU FOOL! ----- Dikiyoba.
