There were only four polls in January (or at least, that's when they were posted in last). shadow, the made a few stupid polls in late December though. All the rating topics weren't until late February/early March. Dikiyoba apparently has way too much free time if Dikiyoba can afford to go look all this up. The individual Shaper graphics and individual Drakon graphics aren't even the same size. Dikiyoba thinks it's much more trouble than it's worth. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

It's spelled vahnatai. You were very close. Dikiyoba wonders what kind of creature an "Empire worm" would be. That would be one interesting monster plague. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

And that's assuming that because two things look alike, they must be alike. Which isn't always true. Dikiyoba's response to Shaun Waun's question is "There is an exception to every rule." Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Dikiyoba would like to see new additional spells rather than replaced spells. Still, Dikiyoba is open to replacing spells that are basically repeats (like "minor heal," "heal," and "major heal") for something much more inventive. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Yes, my response was directed at Dead Weight on the Forums' first post in this topic. Yes, I realized that Dead Weight on the Forums' post was a joke. Yes, my response to it was a joke. No, I did not decree that Dead Weight on the Forums is not a self-respecting Spiderwebber. [SARCASM]Don't make Dikiyoba pull these sarcasm brackets out again. You need to ask the vahnatai who is studying an herb catalog about the toadstools first before you can take them. Dikiyoba may have the name of the vahnatai in a second... Edit: Nope, can't remember the name. But he's wandering around Egli somewhere. Sharx, it's good to see someone actually listening to comments. It doesn't always happen. Thank you. Also, Dikiyoba doesn't think there is any shame whatsoever in being a slow poster. Windows or Mac? For Windows, it's the "Prnt Scrn" button. Of course, then you have to paste the resulting picture somewhere. Dikiyoba doesn't know how to do it on a Mac. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

If you have to ask whether or not to buy it, the answer is probably no. In my experience, I've known whether or not to buy a given Spiderweb game within two or three hours of playing time. ----- Originally by Kelandon: quote:Dikiyoba just came back from reading old topics in the Richard White Games Forum, so both Zorro's most recent post and signature make perfect sense. And should we envy them or pity them? Dikiyoba doesn't care what Dikiyoba gets, so long as Dikiyoba ends up with one soon, since Dikiyoba reads Dikiyoba's name from Arancaytar's list like this: Dikiyoba - [some discussion]. Edit: Typo. Spending any length of time reading the posts in this forum is likely to result in a major plot spoiler. But since many people who like this game will like it for reasons other than the plot, keeping the plot secret isn't a huge deal. Dikiyoba hates anti-spoilerism, since, in Dikiyoba's experience elsewhere, it tends to result in [SPOILER] Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Well, I understand the "perfectionist" sentiment perfectly. If there's a zone uncleared, a door not opened, or a quest left undone, I'm not satisfied. The only place Dikiyoba cheats to clear places is the mines in G1. If there's nothing left alive and no area unexplored in a mine section, why should Dikiyoba have to walk back-and-forth across it many, many times while clearing out the other mine sections? Well, I play as a solo melee Guardian, so I would put skill points in strength, melee, QA, and parry. If it were up to me, my leadership would be up to ten and my mechanics would be up to fifteen, but that's just me. Dikiyoba recommends raising a few skills at a time and not all at once, so that it's not a huge loss if you don't like where you place your skill points.
