If you like G3, buy G3. If you don't like G3, don't buy G3. If you like G4 when it comes out, buy G4. If you don't like G4 when it comes out, don't buy G4. It's as simple as that. Come up with a compelling scenario (either serious or absurd) as to why the decision absolutely must come down to one or the other and then Dikiyoba will choose one or the other. Originally by Alostrael: quote:You have to be allied with the Takers in order to get it open. Dikiyoba doesn't remember which doors and how to get them open. It might involve allowing the mines in that hallway to go off, if that's even the right spot. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

The download for A Large Rebellion on the Spiderweb's official site doesn't work. Almost all of the scripts are missing. Somewhere, there's a download that works properly, but the scenario itself has so many bugs that I couldn't finish it. The High Level Party Maker is a good spot to go and get items identified between scenarios. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

No, the quest cannot be "completed" in the sense that it will be removed from the quest list. Don't buy him any more iron, since it's just a way for your party to gain money. Nothing more and nothing less. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Originally by MagmaDragoon: quote:Unfortunately, many diseases don't have a vaccine yet. Others lose their effectiveness over time, requiring booster shots. And getting everyone in the world vaccinated would be very difficult, not just in the time, money, effort, and organization that would be required, but in the persuasion it would take to convince everyone that they should get the vaccine. That said, it is possible to eradicate a disease entirely. Like smallpox, for example. Although there are still samples of it in existance, so it isn't entirely gone. Dikiyoba. There are also plenty of previous discussions about party combinations, if you have the time and inclination to search for them. Dikiyoba's only tip is that the thief and the mage should the same character, not two different ones. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

I think I might have had this problem once or twice. I can't say for sure, because it happens so infrequently that I always assumed that it was an error on my part and not the computer's. So I have no idea what the problem may be and how to fix it. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Horribly oversimplified, but one step would be to require that people get vaccinated for the diseases that there are already vaccinations for. There's no reason for outbreaks of mumps and other "defeated" illnesses. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Dikiyoba is still assuming that this is for G1... The power core can only be cleared after most of the mine shades have been killed and after the machinery that creates the mines has been turned off. My strategy was to hold off on it until closer to the end of the game and not immediately after clearing the areas around it. I relied on running while in combat mode and frequent saving to survive. Topics and polls that openly admit that they are a waste of time don't last long. Mind you, Dikiyoba would have to pick the favorite rating abominable photo game vs. return of the undead karma census poll, if forced to choose. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

I think the seeing Geneforge in your sleep is more worrisome than the carpal tunnel. The carpal tunnel can be blamed on other things. Seeing Geneforge in your sleep can't be explained away so easy. Despite the fact that Dikiyoba sometimes sees Dikiyoba's self as a small, orange dikiyora plotting to build a Geneforge that gives massive amounts of power solely to Dikiyoba, Dikiyoba doesn't think that Dikiyoba has played too much Geneforge. It's not like Dikiyoba has attempted to create that Geneforge yet. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

If Dikiyoba recalls correctly, it's there to be a teaser for Avernum 2. So there is something back there...but you have to play A2 to find out what it is. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Originally by Major: quote:Yes, but that was before Tyranicus said that it was impossible, so it didn't count as attempting it after someone said it. Admittedly, I tried it again after your post (and succeeded this time). Oh, and there is only one Dikiyoba, not multiple Dikiyobas. We are sure of that. :P Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |
