No, the Ornk Lord doesn't talk. It is described as being somewhat god-like. And the ornkskin gloves had a penalty to intelligence. Originally by Marlenny: quote:We were competing? Dikiyoba doesn't remember agreeing to a competition. :P Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

It worked in favor of the poll, actually. Since Dikiyoba hasn't played G3, Dikiyoba doesn't have a favorite side and so can't answer the question. So Dikiyoba just checked them both. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Dikiyoba remembers it doing a low amount of damage, but it's main purpose is to terrify things, not to damage them. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

There are many ways to do this. There is a servant mind who can help you, if you have mind nutrients. You can clear some mines if you have a red spore baton (a green and a brown spore baton would probably also be helpful). Or you could just make a bunch of creations, bless and haste them, and kill all the guards. Once you are past the guards, the boat should be easy. It may take a few tries to get past the guards, though, so it never hurts to have a back-up save. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

There should be one in the same zone as Mind Azzo. Work your way past all the doors with hasted fyora ambushes. There's a room at the end (Dikiyoba isn't sure whether it is closed with a locked lever or not). In the room are damaging floors. The crystal should be in a chest or pot on the other side of the floors. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Dikiyoba tried it once, just to see what the ending was. Then Dikiyoba reverted back to the saved game and continued where Dikiyoba left off. Edit: Typo. [ Monday, May 15, 2006 07:59: Message edited by: Dikiyoba ] Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

I always name my character Jaknasi (or Jaknasa, if I'm playing an Agent) because it sounds good, and also because it means "powerful one" in the language I'm inventing and Shapers are powerful, particularly ones who uses as many canisters as mine typically do. I learned I shouldn't stay up until 3 am writing the script and then go to sleep because I end up dreaming about it. (Plus, I end up with horrendous typos.) Maybe if you disguised it as your "essay" really well... Dikiyoba wanted to post a graemlin at the end of the above line to indicate a non-serious suggestion. Sadly, due to graemlin hyperinflation in this topic, Dikiyoba's single graemlin is completely worthless for that purpose. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

I'd call MM* a lurking newbie or a new lurker myself. But labels really aren't important, as long as people don't label you an uncontrollable n00b. And Ben isn't really the ur-noob, or he'd be speaking entirely in capital letters. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

RUMINATIONS 5/13/06 Vol. 1, Issue 1 DISCONTENT AMONG THE BOVINGELICALS Dikiyoba, Free-Range Reporter The first great fence has arisen, dividing the bovingelicals into two fields. Voicing concerns that the current church leadership has too much weight and has stopped listening to ordinary herd members, several members have defected from the Church of the Nine-Headed Cave Cow and formed the Atkins Reformed Church of the Nine-Headed Cave Cow. Says one reformed bovingelical, "We were just fed up. His and Her Meaty Appendage's preaching is bull. Just give us the holy hamburger, and hold the puns." His and Her Meaty Appendage could not be reached for comment. However, one bovingelical reportedly said, "Those reformists simply want some of the Church of the Nine-Headed Cave Cow's moola for themselves." The bovingelical's words apparently spooked the reformists and he or she was trampled to death in the resulting stampede. So say good-bye to the perfect harmony that the Church of the Nine-Headed Cave Cow enjoyed previously. What does the future hold? No one knows. Only one thing is known for sure—there's no use crying over split milk. Coming next week: Shocking new evidence that the moon really is made of cheese. Edit: Typo.
