What are you expecting in GF 4? in Geneforge Series | |

If you want to know what you think will happen in G4, just read any of the posts that Jeff makes. They sometimes reveal something. Anything else is just a wish. Dikiyoba isn't expecting anything. That way, Dikiyoba will be pleasantly surprised by whatever happens in Geneforge 4 and not disappointed. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

No, no. I meant something really witty, like a brief poem or catchphrase or something. :P Putting the most recent update in my sig wouldn't be a bad idea but no one's complained about missing updates yet and I'd like to keep my sig as short as possible. In the unlikely event that it happens: I give permission to anyone who wants to create a scenario based on or using information from my scripts to do so freely. Just give me credit if you pull a lot of information from the scripts. Oh, and if it is a BoA scenario...I wanna beta-test it! :P ----- Act 6, Scene 2. Dikiyoba really should come up with some clever ways to announce these updates, but Dikiyoba is always too creatively drained after writing, editing, and placing the scene to think of anything. Oh well. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

If t05ironmines.txt is only file that's missing, then you can just move it from the new folder into the old folder and see if that fixes the game. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Originally by MagmaDragoon: quote:The "Alorael gets a custom title" thread turned useful, though. It was all spam, of course, but lots of topics in this forum are just spam. So it wasn't much of a disaster. And this thread isn't your fault. It was just a funny little joke that backfired. And it's still funny, in a twisted, ironic way. Nikki, holler if you need a defibrillator. Dikiyoba has one ready to use. :P Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

You know, if we just ignore this topic, odds are, it won't get locked. So everyone who posts "In before the lock" is really saying "I'm partially responsible for getting this topic locked." Or we could turn it into something useful. For instance: Fatman, you could spend a week making a list of what custom titles you would give members and then post the list at the end of the week. Sure, Synergy did that once, but that was Synergy, not Fatman. The results are likely to be very different. :P Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

First of all, you gave less than an hour for people to answer your question. Second, this belongs in the Avernum Trilogy Forum, not the Tech Support Forum. Tech Support is for problems running the games. Avernum Trilogy Forum is where you should go to ask for help. Third, there are three tests. You may need to do all three. And have you completed the ritual in the first vahnatai town that allows you to understand their language? Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

This is going to make me spend far too much time at Wikipedia reading up on Seinfield characters. :P It's amazing how many jokes that can be gleaned from just three lines of information about Jimmy. Dikiyoba is down! Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

My state has the CIM, but that's about to go through another huge readjustment. I passed it during my sophomore year. Only a part of it is writing, though. Dikiyoba is not graduating until the eleventh. Then it's one very short summer until Dikiyoba heads off to college. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Some areas will be relative utopias, some areas will be relative dystopias, and some areas will remain without much technology, but I think that the world, as a whole, will experience a future closest to 2001.
