quote:Hold on, hold on. Does this hold true everywhere? Undoubtedly, it holds true in Disney movies and probably in most aspects of daily life as well. But would it hold true within twenty feet of any Richard White game? I think not. This study forgot to take the effects of retroactivity and needle/ferrets into account. Therefore, it is flawed and proves nothing. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

I'm sorry, Major, but the script clearly states that quote:Or do you mean that you haven't left your sanity at the door on the message board itself? Fluffy turtles, attack! --- Originally by Dintiradan: quote:FYT Also, I'd take a look at "IF I EVER BECOM AN EVEL OVERLOARD" for ideas if I were you. --- Dikiyoba. Oh, those poor lemmings! How could anyone ever be so cruel? And it all could have been avoided if people hadn't been posting "IBTL" left, right, up, backwards, and inside-out. Dikiyoba can't watch any longer. *Sob* Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Originally by Little Billy Sue: quote:I know, I know. The mages are working as fast as they can. The good news is, there's only about fifteen people left to be revived. --- Originally by Jumpin' Salmon: quote:For obvious reasons, I don't list every single person who enters and exits in a group like that. It would take too long and it would be boring. --- Act 6, Scene 4. Hmm. Dikiyoba just realized that Dikiyoba unintentionally put together another 4-member adventuring party in that scene. You really should play the game through twice, once as a Loyalist and once as a Rebel. Posts have an edit button. Polls can't be changed, but posts can. In the future, please edit instead of double-posting. In G1, there are three sects, in G2, there are four, and G4 will (to the best of Dikiyoba's knowledge)have three sects, but G3 only has two. Originally by MagmaDrakoon: quote:Play G1 as a guardian the first time through, if that's what you're used to and good at, and then experiment with different builds on different playthroughs. G1 is quite different from G3, because there are fewer spells and raising stats doesn't cause an increase in skill points required. Dikiyoba. Only administrators can give out custom titles. Otherwise Alorael would have given himself one by now. Fatman, you have inspired Dikiyoba to write this poem. *Ahem* Roses are red Violets are blue Since you asked for one NO CUSTOM TITLE FOR YOU! The problem is, the two strongest personalities in this forum are Delicious Vlish and Slartucker (although Student of Trinity is right behind them) and they both play G3 on torment and have everything calculated out, so the rest of us are a little left out. Then there are a few people whose contributions boil down to "My guardian is souped-up, powerful, and really cool!" That gets annoying quickly. Perhaps all topics in this forum should be organized into three sections: Noob, Normal, and Torment. Dikiyoba is joking, of course...but only because the logistics of it would be too difficult. :P Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Ghezuarah Mehnzuh, I think we can keep the flaming under control if you don't respond back to people, just because it's easier for you to control your behavior than it is for you to control others' behavior. Your build looks like the basic, traditional guardian build. It's not a bad starting spor, but lots of people start out with similar builds. There are other build ideas discussed in other threads, if you want to experiment. And threads go off topic more often than not. It's a fact of Spiderweb Message Boards, and it's probably better that way. Don't get upset over it, because it's not worth it at all. Dikiyoba. Shadow47 registered before Ed did, though. Shadow47 != Ed It's possible that Shadow47 = Ed - Contrition, but it's not really worth worrying about yet. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

I don't think you can buy mechanics, leadership, or base skills until the very end of the game. I don't think there's any training for shaping skills. Magical skills can't be trained until the Taker lands. However, melee skills can be trained in Awakened lands. Creations and spells are the main options for training, so hold off on using canisters and reading books until after you've bought training. There are a few quests that give skill rewards, so save before you complete them. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Originally by Student of Trinity: quote:Technically, very few people have seen a eyebeast, so people should already be saying it whenever a character with an eyebeast enters. quote:Except that I'm playing G1, and I didn't touch any graphic files, just the main data file. So it would be impossible. I could probably turn my character into a drakon for G2 or G3, though. I haven't actually tried it yet. Dikiyoba just doesn't have the proper motivation for it yet. Dikiyoba likes fyoras much better. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Ignoring problems don't make them go away. But flamefests, like any fire, require fuel. Without fuel, it will die down. Adding fuel will only make it grow worse. Don't add any more fuel. Edit: MagmaDragoon, it's "hypothetical." :P Dikiyoba. [ Sunday, May 28, 2006 09:40: Message edited by: Learned Darikiyoban ] Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

You need to go to that link and copy all of the text. Open up the z2southenddlg.txt file in the G3 script folder. Save the original under a different name in a place you know where it is at. Then remove all the old text and copy in the next text from the link. Save it and close out of it. Then open up the game and play. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Go ahead and register. (And if there's another game you want to get, register them both at the same time to get the Nethergate discount.) The Nethergate update won't be available for a long time. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |
