Grocery stores seem to be generally a regional thing. It's interesting that we have chains across the whole country of everything but grocery stores. I doubt any of you not from general area of the country have heard of Nell's, (I work in a Nell's at the moment in fact, as I'm still job- hunting for a full-time job that wants an A+ certified technician), Giant (a somewhat larger chain found all around the northeast, also known as Martin's in some areas), or Weiss. Those are the only grocery stores in my town. We used to have a Food Lion, but Wal-Mart drove itout of business. Now that I mention it, I think I have seen Food Lions in other areas. I think there's one in Minneapolis, and I know I saw one in Atlanta. Maybe Food Lion is a national chain. Does anybody else have Food Lions anywhere near you? Although I doubt anyone cares about my grocery store descriptions.

What in the world is WinCo? I've heard of Safeway (although I 've never seen one), but WinCo must be from somewhere I've never been.

I don't have many recent ones, and my most recent pictures aren't digital, but here's what I have:

IMAGE(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v435/m4dl33tskills/Thad.jpg)
This one's about 3 years old, but I look a lot younger. I'm actually 17 there if you can believe it.

IMAGE(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v435/m4dl33tskills/sdafdsxgzxb.jpg)
This one would be from about a year and a half ago.

This is my most recent digital picture. It's from last spring. Here I am with my girlfriend Laura ready for the senior prom.

I'm not sure, but you might have to get past the Final Gauntlet and beat the 2nd quest before beating the 3rd quest. I could be wrong though. Also, did you talk to Erika after you got all five brooches? I had the same problem when I played at A1 at one point. You have to talk to her once you have the brooches, and then go to the platform. At this point, she should appear and tell you how to go through the portal to kill Hawthorne.

It was in late 1999, and I found a demo for Nethergate from a gaming magazine. I'm pretty sure it was in PC Gamer, although it could have been another PC magazine. I was immediately hooked, but it wasn't til much later (late 2002, I believe), when I went to the site to buy the game. Of course, I discovered Avernum at that point, and I've never been able to stop playing spderweb games since. I know have the full version of every single Spiderweb game available for the PC (including Homeland - I thought it would get better), and consider them to be my best gaming investments ever. I only discovered these boards back in November 2005 when I was searching for help while playing throught Nethergate for the umpteenth time.

You don't need Office to read word files. if you have Windows, you can use wordpad, and no matter what you have you can use OpenOffice.org by Sun Microsystems, one of the best open source companies out there. It's a free download that allows you to create, read, and modify all MS Office documents as well as many other formats. I'm surprised you don't know about it, Aran, with your professed love for Linux. it comes as a default application with many Linux distributions, including Fedora.

OK. It's been said many times before, and I'm going to say it again. There is NOT going to ever be a Nethergate 2. What Jeff is planning to do at some point in the future is a revamped Nethergate with new content added. The impression I get is that it will be sort of like the "Tales of the Sword Coast" expansion to Baldur's Gate. It's not another story as much as added content to the original.

EDIT: I forgot this was UBB and tried using HTML tags

Actually the most interesting spelling error I ever saw on these forums was when someone on the Nethergate forum spelled Celts as "Cretecs." A lot of people had no idea what they were talking about until someone figured it out.

I'll direct you to this thread. As far as I know, that is the only BoA chat log available online. If i am ever able to be present for an entire chat again, I'll post that log. I was there for most of the chat on wednesday, but it mostly just conversation as opposed to BoA discussion. I get the fealing that if i had been there from the beginning, I would have seen more BoA discussion.

Repell Spirit Level 3 should work against Grah-Hoth, presuming you can get it before you fight Grah-Hoth. I can't remember where you can find it.

EDIT: I just had my fighter hack at him with the Demonslayer while my priest healed him.

I'm being entirely serious. A Dutch explorer named Tasman discovered both Australia and New Zealand. He named Australia New Holland after his homeland and New Zealand after Zealand because New Zealand is two smaller islands of the coast of Australia just like Zealand is a small island off the coast of the Netherlands. It was only later that the British renamed it Australia to depict its southern location (australis is Latin for south or southern wind.) Zealand truly is an island off the coast of the Netherlands.

It's an Island off the coast of the Netherlands. The name harkens back to when Australia was first discovered and named New Holland.

That's true, but if you have a decent popup blocker, you never have to see the popup ads. Firefox has a pretty good blocker built-in to the program. Ad-blockers are less reliable, so I would say go with the popup, since it should be blocked easily.

So, I've searched all through Bahssikava, and I can't find the last silver triangle. I have 5 of them, but the 6th triangle continues to elude me. I attempte to find a walkthrough that said where they all were, but i could only find one A1 walkthrough online, made by some guy called AverMan. His walkthrough doesn't talk about Bahssikava at all. Does anyone know where i can find a list that says where all the triangles are?
