I've haven't made anything in a while but maybe I'll dig out some of my old stuff. Jesus was the one and only begotton son of God who willingly became the perfect sacrifice to attone for all our sins that all may obtain salvation by confessing they are a sinner, and accepting Jesus as their lord and saviour. And that is all I have to say on the topic. -------------------- "Even the worst Terror from Hell can be transformed to a testimony from Heaven!" - Rev. A little, a lot, not very much, or not at all would all be valid 'ammounts' of respect. Of course simply saying that you do or do not makes the whole thing a bit easier. ;) Edit:tAran - Sounds like a hand-eye coordination problem to me. :P I'm constantly renaming flies and folders in the hopes of organizing them better. (Just check my naming system for PixPro.) I've gotten a lot of practice. It only becomes difficult when one or more kids decide they want to sit on my lap at the same time. Well, I probably have played them more then the kids have since they're all in the 8 and up age group. My oldest is 7 so Mommy has to help quite a bit, but they're just the demos so I've gotten bored of them all. Jimmy Neutron is fun the first couple times through, but being a puzzle game the fun fades to redundant all too soon. quote:It actually drives me nuts. I don't like clutter. I've been known to move New Folder (2), (3), ect. into the original New Folder just to have it off the desktop. But I've gotten lazy as of late... or it doesn't seem to matter as much as it once did. Take your pick. *notes that Alo didn't actually say how much he respects anyone whose desktop includes "New Folder", "New Folder (2)", and "New Folder (3)". Just that he wanted me to know.* Edit: Taking a closer look myself, I wonder who made the "Shortcut to New Folder (2)" when "New Folder (2)" is just a few spaces away... proof positive that the kids do play with the computer. :) [ Wednesday, March 01, 2006 18:42: Message edited by: Jewels ] -------------------- "Even the worst Terror from Hell can be transformed to a testimony from Heaven!" - Rev. desktop.png My stuff is limited to the bottom two rows and does not include all of it. The rest is Chris's with the exception of the three games in the bottom right corner. Subject matter of a chat? Top billing?! *checks to make sure no one is watching* ... *does a little victory dance* Sorry, I'm an attention whore. I did fail to participate in the census, didn't I? As for the match, has anyone here watched Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang? I feel our relationship would be akin to that of the barron and his wife. Only he wouldn't pretend he wasn't trying to kill me. Wow, go to sleep and the whole world wakes up. (Slartucker) quote:I am not debating. I posted to answered two question from my point of view. Everyone can take it as they will. My goal is not to convince anyone of anything. I am just planting seeds. Most seem to be falling on the path. But you never know. Someone out there might be fertile soil. quote:All new ways to translate the Bible are given serious thought by me, for example Synergy's point of view. We... or rather he, had quite a talk about it months ago. I am very proud of him for getting to the point quicker.(though sometimes he reverts a bit) I explored it much, though I didn't change my position. quote:The nature of God will never be adequately understood even after experiencing it. It is too infinate for our finate minds to grasp. (Khoth) quote:Already answered. I do not expect to convince you. God is the only one who can convince you. I am just giving my eyewitness account. BTW, Christianity does not = massive happiness. It equals peace and joy despite any other feeling including extreeme sadness. (Ephesos) quote:If shmif... I was offered the same gift as you. My personal relationship with Jesus is. quote:I was going to spend time posting verses of 'my' God's words for you but then I thought it might be better to explain my intolerance since the secular deffinition has become more radical. Religious Tolerance is respecting all beliefs, faiths and religions. A God given right. Religious intolerance is rejecting what is false and proclaiming what is truth, through non-violence and benevolence, based on truth of empirical fact that is self revealing and evidential to all who listen.(deffinitions not from me but The Thorn) I will tolerate everyones right to believe in what they choose to believe. I will not tolerate the incorporation of false doctrine into my faith. quote:Really, must I answer this again? (I know there are those who would prefer I not) Yes I have considered it, yes I have doubted it, yes I have lived it. And I had a whole lot of fun doing it in between being miserable. There was always something missing, that constant peace and joy. quote:Answered pretty well by Lenar Labs, actually. I believe that in the end there is only one thing that can save you, whether or not you are given a last chance to accept Jesus as your saviour after you have died/seen him, I don't know. I would think it possible and even probable. It's all about your heart attitude and how merciful God decides to be. (Alorael) quote:In reality, I would blame those who taught him how to be a Christian. Christians are Christianity's greatest enemy. By the admission of being 'confirmed', I guess catholic. My husband was confirmed as a catholic as well, five years before he called me a liar when I told him Deuteronomy was a book of the Bible. He also had never had a personal relationship with Jesus and was never told he should seek one. The night after I was frank enough to say 'God's love feels better then an orgasm,' he came back to say 'You were right.' We've had our problems and sinned plenty enough since then, but turning our hearts back towards God never fails to turn our hearts back towards each other as well. (Kel) quote:Leek soup is phyisical and bound to the laws of physics. God is spiritual and not bound by anything but his own holiness. In regards to a God that does not have physical limits, I assure you that it is reasonable to expect just that. As I expected when I told my husband, and as my sister and mother and my pastors and every other born again Christian that has given their testimony to me has professed. Were some of them lying? Maybe. Were they all lying? It's not impossible. But I cannot lie to myself. (Jumpin' Salmon) quote:Having the belief "I know I am right" is more confidence then lack of humility. Lack of humility would be me thinking "I'm better then you because I am right", which I know I am not. I am no better, then the worst terrorist/mass murderer that ever lived. I am no better then the sluttiest harlot. I am no better then the most infamaous theif. In fact I may be worse because I have also been a hypocrit. And yes, by all means, explore every single avenue that ever was. It is much better to be found in the search of something you have never found, then to be found that you have never started the search. (TM) quote:All right then, give it to me! ... *waits* ... I am so dissapointed. :( quote:If you really want to believe, God will kill the brain cells for you. quote:I know. I love you anyway. quote:hmm... Empathy - being able to imagine how someone else feels. Problem is Alo did not say he was feeling what you think I should empathasize with. When he says he 'is', I will. Bitterness - marked by intensity or severity: a : accompanied by severe pain or suffering <a bitter death> b : being relentlessly determined : VEHEMENT <a bitter partisan> c : exhibiting intense animosity <bitter enemies> d (1) : harshly reproachful <bitter complaints> (2) : marked by cynicism and rancor <bitter contempt> e : intensely unpleasant especially in coldness or rawness To be expected. I was trying to emulate your style after all. quote:*snickers* Gah - will I never be rid of my dirty sense of humor... ;) Perhaps tis 'nother vice. quote:I'm still waiting. Come on, I want to be pissed on already. (and you can quote me on that) -------------------- "Even the worst Terror from Hell can be transformed to a testimony from Heaven!" - Rev. quote:That example is really incomparable. I'm embarrassed for you. quote:Again, there is no room for 'if's' or 'could's' here. Either you have or you haven't. Ephesos - There is a HUGE difference between 'trying Christianity' and having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It's the difference between taking a gift to store on a shelf and opening it to use and enjoy. quote:I already know what common ground we have. We are both human, imperfect, fallible, mortal. With the qualification of God, we are both created, intended, meant to be. With the qualification of the Bible as God's word, we are both sinners worthy of death, and we are both loved enough to be freely offered life. Yet within this last qualification, cooperation, or tolerance if you will, is not acceptable. There is only one way. Thus why attacks, insults and hatred are expected. That I bring out so much ire in you for simply stating my beliefs only makes me think I'm on the right track. quote: -------------------- "Even the worst Terror from Hell can be transformed to a testimony from Heaven!" - Rev. -Why you should care- With the pre-qualifier that God exsists, you should care because you were created, by something, for some reason. Your life has a purpose. Pain and suffering have a purpose. Death has a purpose. -Why Christians say they've had a supperior experience- (stated from my experience) Because I have. It's the very reason I am more then willing to be insulted, attacked, and hated. I found something extraordinary, and I want to share it. The best thing is: IT'S FREE, AND ANYONE CAN HAVE IT RIGHT NOW! You don't have to work for it. You don't have to change. All you have to do is accept it. -------------------- "Even the worst Terror from Hell can be transformed to a testimony from Heaven!" - Rev. Hmmm... Chocoholic? Yes. I have a sweet tooth for the most unhealthy pastries also. No pumpkin pie please, hand me that box of krispy kreams instead. Then there's my most healthy addiction to sex which contains some things therin that I will not discuss out of a new-found respect for a private husband. "It's none of your business." as he would say. Oh... then there's the most revolting vice possible... I... I admit it. I'm addicted to Runescape. Or at least I was. Two days ago though I sat down with my calulator and figured out how much time it would take me to become skilled enough to smith full rune. 1500+ hours if I were to mine all the minerals myself... I have not had the same urge to play since the discovery. -------------------- "Even the worst Terror from Hell can be transformed to a testimony from Heaven!" - Rev.
