These statistics have no point without the rankings. They didn't have a lot of point even with the rankings, but they certainly have none now. So far I've managed to stay away from this thread, believing Aran's claim that he was not trying to push a political agenda with his moment of silence for a "peace activist". However, if spy.there insists on turning this into a political debate, why don't we talk about all the young women blown to pieces for the crime of living in a country that some people want to erase from the map, for example, about a girl that I knew: Marla Benett. Considering that Palestinians just elected Hamas, the "political party" that sponsored many of the suicide bombings and whose platform calls for destruction of Israel, and that after Israel left Gaze, Palestinians started to fire rockets at Israeli towns, instead of Gaza settlements they were attacking before, Israeli bulldozers look to me like the least of the obstacles to Middle East peace.
