Fortunately, the first kind of "grooming" that came to my mind was the kind that chimps do, so I'm only picturing you two picking bugs off each other and eating them.

Now I'm getting even more of an image of Hannibal Lecter.

Funny story about the word "statistic".

You know those child sponsorship ads that have pictures of starving African children and say "Don't let this child become a statistic"?

Yeah? Well, because of those, for the first 10 years of my life I thought "statistic" meant "a dead person".

Act 4, Scene 2 is ready to go. I may get another one done tonight, I may not. I was planning on it, but then there were some formatting issues.

Three things:
1. There is another statistic in the scene.
2. This whole "grooming" thing won't make it into the plot.
3. I saw Arctic Wolf. Apparently, Arctic is into advertising.

If someone sees something like this, they?d better tell Dikiyoba about the problem. On a related note, Dikiyoba is now typing all of Dikiyoba?s scripts in Notepad, which doesn?t do any autoformatting.

There's too many characters for lot's of people to live. Heck, I'm surprised Dikiyoba hasn't sent me to the Hall of Fallen Kings. Hmmm. He probably will now that I mentioned it. What's more he'll probably make the fake Alorael do it.

I managed to put up Act 4, Scene 3 after all. There is still a slight formatting issue, but it's significantly less annoying than it was.

Interestingly enough, Dikiyoba had a rough draft ready to go before Thuryl mentioned anything about statistics. Thuryl's post just makes things more...interesting.

Hmmm. This script is getting more and more fascinating. You would think that the Spiderwebbers in all their wisdom would tunnel around. I always wondered why the famous miners of Fort Draco didn't do that in Avernum 2. Heck even Motrax could have helped.

I'm currently trying to decide if the circumstances of Ash Lael's death is some very slanted innuendo, or if I'm just reading into this too much. If it is, then it was some high quality innuendo, as innuendo goes.

Dikiyoba, this last part made me laugh, a lot. I don't know how, but you have somehow managed to replicate the exact mix of passive-aggressive emotional displays and unintentional camp that makes me crack up when I play games like Final Fantasy 4 (II, in the US). This last part kept making me think of the hissy fit Rydia throws near the end ("Everybody's dying!"). Death is even represented in the same way, by having the character's sprite flicker and then disappear. Keep up the good work.

There are just some of them. There are many variations (such as ( and < and { ), and Wikipedia even has its own alphabet, with at least three for most.

And N is often used in place of 'z'.

Yeah, I suppose it could do that. But that omega thing gives me the idea that someone should start writing all their posts in θρεεκ. :P

Slartucker, I have not played any Final Fantasy game, so I am not effected by it in any way. I am remarkably sheltered when it comes to any form of popular entertainment and I like it that way.

My inspiration for the death sequences are Shakespearian, oddly enough. It's just absurd how many lines it takes for some characters to die. My goal was to create something similarly absurd.

Party for the benalizer! Oh...never mind. Nice topic for it, though. Dikiyoba is flattered by your choice of topic to post the 3000 post (in a way not involving any sort of insects or innuendo).

You should know that they are too incompetent for that. Heck, you might as well teach them a whole language. Latin?

I'm glad to see I'm showing due concern for Tyran's passing. :)
