Ed: I've made a script about my "friends" :D .
Dikiyoba: Who cares about you my script is better.
Alorael: Wow Dikiyoba, your script rules!
Everyone Else: Yeah good job Dikiyoba!
Ed: You stole my topic Dikiyoba! *Kicks Dikiyoba in the shin*
Kelandon: Actually under rule 131,237,580 it is still on the topic of scripts.
TM: Yeah loser, you suck.
End of short script, basically sumarizing this topic.

I am somewhat distressed by Arctic's absence, but I suppose we need something to end it all off...

By the way, Diki, Sir David always has a sword in RP-type things.

EDIT: Shouldn't the ur-noob speak exclusvely in 1337?

This is mainly because Dikiyoba can't read 1337 speak, let alone write in it. Let's just say that there are many forms of stupidity, and not all of them require an inability to communicate.

Edit: Shaun Wuan, Sir David: requests noted.

PizzaKing: Ed has taken it surprisingly well. He did write an angry script with me in it, but I deserved no less. Also, Alorael has been keeping his presence in this topic to a minimum. That worries me.

My death is but a small price to pay for the continued existance of the forums.

I like the way you never shorten members names. E.g. "Nice move, Jumpin’ Salmon!" Very...cumbersome. :P

Not true, you can be a newbie without being a noob. Whenever you stop being a newbie is when you're an oldbie, but whoever said anything about gaining/losing noob status?

Yes, of course, but how in the world does that invalidate my analogy? "Newbie is to noob as oldbie is to ___."

I was under the impression that oldbie had a more specific usage here, along the lines of "has been here for way too long," and that a decent chunk of the forum population is neither newbie nor oldbie. Is that incorrect?

Don't blame him, he might not have taken an SAT test before. :P (I haven't seen that way of writing an analogy anywhere else...)

But if you aren't familiar with the format, wouldn't the colons and double colons lead you to conclude I'm typing nonsense, rather than implying "all newbies are noobs"?

For the purpose of the argument, wouldn't the two be equivalent? The point is that he understood something very far removed from what you were saying.

Edit: Also, it is more polite, if someone appears to be speaking nonsense, to assume they meant something rather than to assume they were speaking nonsense. ;)

If you really want to be polite -- or, hell, if you don't care about being polite but do care about your own understanding -- you could either ask for clarification, or attempt to look it up yourself. :P

This is nothing against you, of course, Infernal, I'm just having a mutual growling session with aran.

The script is a legitimate work of parody, so I'm quelling my righteous urge to complain about my fictitious counterpart's behavior towards Goldenking. I really don't do sharing, especially when I'm armed and all skribbaned up.

Newbie : Noob :: Oldbie : Ooldb

No newb lasts that long because nobody wants to be called an ooldb.

—Alorael, who would like to remind everyone present that this is a family forum. Take your licentious and libidinous behavior elsewhere, and for heaven's sake don't show your noobs in public! (Noobs take note, please.)

Arctic (Arctic Wolf) eats invisible newbies (the ones who never posted), which might make him a bit dangerous for the newbie army being trained in General. If you work him into the plot, whoever is leading him should make sure he doesn't run into all that food.

Bunker is probably the refuge from the flame wars on old Misc board. The graveyard of that forum would be a very dangerous place (located between game boards and mod board).

I am not sure what sandwiches Saunders is talking about and, considering what I heard about Room 3, I am not sure I want to know. :)

Alorael, you don't share in the script. Your stolen blind by my fake counter part. Chances are your fake copy will find out and something bad will happen to me. However me, NOT my copy, has a giant field of skribbane all to my own. What's more my slaves, uhh I mean servants create canisters daily. When all my "servants" are done with canister/skribbane duties the put the skribbane IN the canisters. Thus I have something as good as skribbane and canisters fused. I also like how Dikiyoba is using the real forums order in his script.

Act 4, Scene 1 is up! It's on a new page, since Act 3 was almost as long as Act 1 and Act 2 combined. There are a few members making their first appearance in this scene.

Dikiyoba.
