Well, you have your revenge. I just shot two good hours of work time on catching up on near-thirty-year-old Wormy comics, which have now been archived on the web (and show up as Google's first 'Wormy' hit).

It takes considerably longer to do the same thing off-line, what with 90+ pages to leaf through.

Some of you may have noticed already; those who didn't, Act 2, Scene 3 is up! It's a long one, too.

Dikiyoba is finally in the script, for all those who were wondering.

The script progresses interestingly. There are some nice touches in there.

I have to admit, however, that when the ur-noob appeared, I was really expecting to see... a 1337 h4x0r spawner. Methinks I've played too many Spiderweb games. :P

While it was in character for me to call Nico an ugly old hag, I'm not exactly sure what inspired her to jump me. That is one to ponder. As far as weapons though, I would prefer to flail with a fishing rod, or perhaps use a tuna gaff for the closer encounters.

You know, if historical accuracy is important.

I was under the impression that she jumped you to save you from the 1337 h4x0r's axe.

Huh. Now that is what I figured, but the motivation seemed off. Unless it was just a cheap gimmick so the author could reuse a stock character further on in the script.

Oh. Never mind.

Great. I have to agree with Slartucker on this one, it has some very nice touches. I like it how you take things from the members' usernames and personality to create these things. It adds to th story.

No! The milling masses of noobs are gaining ground!

EDIT: Wow. Just noticed my amazing alliteration. :)

Very good stuff, Dikiyoba.

Attention! Dikiyoba could use some help. As you probably know, the Richard White Cult is taking over defense of the Richard White Games Forum. Unfortunately, the cult is so mysteriously secret that Dikiyoba cannot ferret out the full extent of their activities, even with the RWG FAQ. PM Dikiyoba with information on members, the theory of retroactivity, government conspiracies, or the reason that Dikiyoba's left eyebrow now hurts a lot.

Diki - that information is and was on a need to know basis.

(In other words, look for any topic that was made or will be made by Icshi.)

I heard a noise and turned my head, but it was only a trick of the wind. When I looked back I stood before the most heinous of amalgamations -- Dicshiyoba.

Act 1, Scene 3 is now up! It's shorter than the last scene but still fairly lengthy. It's on a new page, since the length of the other page was causing formatting issues and wasted scrolling time.

Also, Dikiyoba added a line to the disclaimer at the bottom.

Wait... it's not the prophecy? Our prayers were for naught?

I look forward to seeing the true SW prophecy, should such a thing exist.

Oh, and I wrote a Spiderweb prophecy once. Or a couple of them. They sounded crappy though.

No, but the attack came eerily close to coming true tonight. Thankfully, *i diverted disaster. I suppose I predicted arghhhhhhhhh's banning way back in Act 1, Scene 2 (though not who would ban him), but that was just a logical guess.

Dikiyoba.

Edit: Typo.

All hail the prophet! :D

I rather hope that tonight's incident goes into the script at some point or another...

Dikiyoba, I like. See if you can work Alec in there somewhere, and perhaps Zeviz and FBM... it seems incomplete without all the oldbies...
I half wonder at how I became upgraded to an oldbie, considering how little time I've spent here, of late. One look at my member number is attempting to prove me wrong, though.

Thanks.

Diki, having read a way through, I can truly say that it is inspired and amusing. Kudos.

Well, Act 3, Scenes 2 and 3 are now up. I'm either having trouble with the formatting, with my eyes, or obscession with details, because some of the text just doesn't look right.

However, it is quite clear that the last few posts have given Dikiyoba the Prophet an inflated ego. Dikiyoba the Prophet will have to go deflate said ego now.
