I am hurted that you killed me. I mean, I just asked if there was a point to my character, I didn't request for it to be killed. Poor script Marlenny. And not even a proper goodbye, no one even noticed. It's so sad, and then Kel almost dying. I just can't type anymore

That's a good scene. It has the right balance of plot and camp. I especially enjoyed Vlish's attack.

Edit: No one even noticed? Why do you think Kel got violent all of a sudden?

I got a cameo! And I haven't even posted in this thread! Huzzah! ...Now to sit back, and wait for my death at the hands of some random noob.

And since I started posting...
quote:
Act 7, Scene 6 said:
Kelandon: Oh my god! They killed Smoo!
Doesn't this line alone mean that Smoo will be seen fighting along the rest of the spidwebbers in a later scene, with noone paying special attention to the fact that he should be dead?

Huzzah! A new scene! I still can't wait to read more. You're a good writer Dikiyoba.

Oh, for future reference, I prefer to use magic. Particularly Ice Magic. Along with Feline-Based Doom.

I'm amazed by the lack of Brody in that scene. Ok, ok, I just wanted to use the name Brody, but still.

Marl: Kel went crazy 'cus you'd kicked the bucket. And got hit after that.

And Dikiyoba: :)

That's all I have to say.

Somehow, I'm not surprised that it ended like that. In retrospect, posting "I'm still not dead yet" was like asking for a custom title.

Woah, I got a sudden appearance and I am not dead yet. Thank you, Dikiyoba.

But Marlenny ;_; and Schro ;_; and Dallerdin ;_;
Can't we find a mighty priest who knows the spell Return Life? Perhaps ef?

Technically, I think my character should be able to do this, but it simply too busy keeping everyone else from dying.

You two just couldn't let it go. Seriously, correcting my typos is a full time job with no pay. I thought you all had given up

I love "hurted".

Reminds me of one of my sons, when small, saying with great feeling "You have hurted my feeeelings!"

:) It sounds like the first line of a pop song to me. Has your son become a famous singer meanwhile, Saunders?
I am too curious, I know.

Maybe you're just out of Resurrection Balm and you don't have any Ember Flowers. More to the point... "keeping everyone else from dying?" To quote myself,

"A little! It's more than that! Here we are, getting killed in a senseless war! There used to be hundreds of newbs and now there are less than a dozen."

I think the real question is why Ephesos doesn't have access to mass healing spells. We could have holed up in the Exile Trilogy Forum, and just had Ephesos cast Light Heal All every turn, with Diki dumping an energy potion down his throat when needed, and held out almost indefinitely.

Wait till we get to the Avernum 4 forum... my SP will quadruple (at least), and then there's Divine Restoration. 'Nuff said.

... and of course, my favorite spell. RETRIBUTION!!!

You know you could need support, Ephesos. To revive some qualified snipers and mages would be a great deed. Um ... and Marlenny to cast Charming all over the noobs :P

I'm still waiting for a part larger than swinging Demonslayer (especially when we get driven into the A4 forum, I'd much rather have a stick.)

I don't care if I die, so long as I get some lines.

I am hurted that you think that, Marlenny.

I only mentioned it because it sounded funny in the context. :P

This kind of reminds me of the way that the kids on South Park call Pip "Frenchie." :P

As I understand it, "newbs" and "n00bs" are different. "Newbs" refers to new or inexperienced people. It is not derogatory. "N00b" refers to someone who is actively trying to be annoying.

Since everyone should die happy, I've edited the script so that Kelandon notices now.

Which brings me way back to the end of Act 4, Scene 4. Alorael complained that his character dies without a proper monologue. He now has a brillant dying line. Well, he now has something at least. And no, I didn't know what day today was when I wrote it.

Finally, Act 8, Scenes 2 and 3 are out.

Dikiyoba.

That is apparently the classification that is used here, or at least in Dikiyoba's script. So that was what I meant with the quote. I don't really like using the terminology that way myself. Newbie is and has always been a mostly derogatory term.
