Act 9, Scene 2 is up. (And for such a short scene, it took an amazingly long time for me to write.)

---------

Edit: Also, I put up two new pages. The appearances page lists all the members who appear. I recommend reading the all the scenes before you look at it. The reviews page lists selective comments made by members in throughout topic. The review page is rather a gray area because so many of the comments are taken out of context. Both will be updated whenever I deem it necessary. Like when a new scene comes out or when someone says something interesting.

---------

OOC: Did Slartucker notice Dikiyoba's location? Does that answer yesterday's question? What does "OOC" stand for? Will Dikiyoba ever respond to a question with a direct answer? Have you ever seen a pink giraffe?

---------

Edit 2: Page 18 already!

Are you implying that I'm in horrible shape and couldn't outrun anyone for very long? ...You're right.

Huh. Guess I didn't die at the hands of a random noob. I like being wrong.

Wait... were A4's pylons ripped from Geneforge canon? In any case, that forum confused me.

I somehow get the feeling that I'm going to die soon. Is that kind of paranoia normal?

Oh, and I love the review page!

Aran? Sexy? AAH >_<;

Oh yea, it's nice as usual. I'm sure Spawner will be able to cause some confusion... and then when somebody dies they'll figure out that Spawner != Aran.

Geez... I wonder how many characters are going to be alive at the end of this script. Maybe none. :P

By the way, I love the part where Aran falls through the mirror.

(And wow, I'm dead. Now all I have to do is learn how to draw a comic strip so I can have my revenge... )

Act 9, Scenes 3 and 4 are up. Apologies for the short length of both. My post will be long to compensate.

Anyone want to guess what the new line in the review section for Infernal666hate is?

Go right ahead. I would be most pleased. Archmage Alex hasn't followed through on his promised updating and Slartucker's taking a break, so there is a comic shortage.

Probably. Pylons haven't appeared in any previous Avernum game and they are common in the Geneforge games. I haven't run across any A4 pylons yet, though. My party's still debating whether to go to Fort Draco or not.

You've had this paranoia since the top of page 11 in this topic and you haven't died yet.

Dikiyoba.

Edit: Typo.

Holy crap, now the admins are dead. Why does this seem suddenly similar to stuff that Yoshiyuki Tomino writes? O_o;

You must not have explored Fort Monastary very well then. There is a pylon in the northwest corner. :P

I was thinking George R.R. Martin, myself, but it amounts to the same thing.

Not to mention Hrickis, Kravvit-Bok, and everywhere west of Fort Remote. In fact, surrounding far too many of the high-level villains in the game.

It reminds me of Martin too. Especially the episodes when admins are killed just as they figure out how to win the war, because Aran dropped his key when he fought Spawner, while the newbies fooled by Spawner rebell, killing their commander.

Considering that there are only a couple forums left and at least 28 members left to kill, I suspect next few scenes will feature a couple huge explosions, followed by paragraph-long lists of names.

Be careful with a word, as you would with a sword,
For it too has the power to kill.
However well placed word, unlike a well placed sword,

I meant the ones that attack you. My party has explored Fort Monastary, at least.

Perhaps, but I've been killing characters off since the very beginning. I'm not waiting until the end.

-----

Dikiyoba has completed Act 9, Scene 5. There's not too much more to add to the script. Hang in there for just a little while longer.

-----

Edit: Added a paragraph.

Not meaning to be picky, but Act 9 scene 4 begins with a unneeded '8'.

So far act 9 is showing a good deal more complexity in some ways than previous ones. On the whole it looks very good. I hope to see an increase in the number of fluffy turtles as the focus of attention moves closer to the general forum.

Edit: Removed a typo of my own.

Dikiyoba can't even comprehend how or why that 8 got there and lived for so long. It's gone now, though.

I wonder why the typos in Kelandon's lines are the ones that stand out most?

I figured that they were because of the time he hit his head on that rock, so they showed that it was really a serious injury. I'm probably wrong, though.

Oh, and I guess I died already. Ah well, it was a good life.

There is no typo. Kelandon meant to say "Get out of their exlamation mark," but Diki was lazy and only done a "!". :P

EDIT: Wtf? I thought Drakey was gone? (Regarding the story)

Dikiyoba edited the script and had him revived. Probably because there's a cooler way for him to die later.

I agree, act 9 has been very good stuff. Especially that line of Saunders which, once again, was beautiful.

Finally, the A4 forum... I can do some damage there.

RETRIBUTION!!!

EDIT: As I've said before, I love my role in this... and I personally can't wait to bust out the Balms of Life at the end of the war. I mean, if the noobs can revive their troops and/or turn them into zombies, why can't we cast Return Life?!

Come to think of it, once we hit the A4 forum, I wouldn't even need Balms of Life anymore. My SP would increase tenfold, and I could just cast Return Life until everyone was back...

Act 10, Scene 1 is up. It's much longer than the last scene. But here's another long post anyway.

-----

Edit: I'm going to be pretty busy tomorrow, so don't expect the next scene tomorrow. (I'll still be on the boards, of course.) Even if I do get a scene out, it's likely to be very short.

On the small chance that some of you missed it:
