And personally I would be highly impressed by vegetarian boys, who drive no car but a bicycle, who could explain to me how semiconductors work, who love cats and have not the wrong taste in music ...

o.O

Stughalf has described me quite well, once again, in trying to describe himself. It's not shyness, really, it's just around that one person... I'd say the two of us are similar in this, but I've still got a few years to go until I can say that IMAGE(girlz place (3)_files/tongue.gif) (assuming that he doesn't get any older, of course).

Acting, Spy? Interesting idea. I was thinking of joining the drama club, actually... I don't want to be a professional actor, certainly not, but if school drama could help me in the confidence department, and if it's fun besides...

EDIT: Yeah, yeah, wrong key...

Bob, you're diabetic too? Get a pump, if so.

Stuggie, I tried some nectar banana strawberry juice once, and it was amazingly good. I've never tried nectar or mango juice alone, but I do not like the taste of the fruit, so I doubt I'd like the juice. Drakey likes mango juice, but... that's different.

Buttermilk? I've heard worse - a girl in my biology class last year told me that she drinks soy sauce straight from the bottle.

EDIT: Dareva, the rest of my family does that. I don't.

From my observations of the human race, I have concluded that people are idiots. Aside from that, though, I'm not too bad with them. Stughalf mentioned reading other men like a book; I have that ability with both sexes, and I'm quite good at manipulation, too. Now if I can just overcome my shyness and moderation, I've got it made...

Motrax has a good point. I'd have trouble staying friends with a girl after being turned down, but I'd rather not ask a girl out until I know her well enough; in other words, until I'm her friend. So I can't ask a friend out, and I can't ask a stranger out. That leaves enemies, and I'd rather not go out with someone if mutual hatred is involved.

I hate fruit juice, especially orange juice. Milk all the way, and I hardly care what's in it as long as it tastes good and doesn't kill me.

I have met both Ben and Jerry on many occasions, due to the fact that they are family friends; my father knew them when he was younger (and still does) and was their first (unofficial) taste-tester. They were going to start their business in my town, at first, but then found a better deal in Vermont. My father owned the local Ben & Jerry's for a while before selling the business and keeping the building.

Why am I telling you this, you ask? BECAUSE I CAN.

Yeah, what's wrong with you people? Don't you understand that ADoS is the only person in recent history to have thought of this, and that he is a brilliant leader or can find a brilliant leader who is completely willing to lead a non-violent revolution? And don't you know how much sense the phrase "non-violent revolution" makes? Really, I'd have expected more of you idealistic teenage commies. You're obviously slacking off.

Spy, I do use my writing skills for that purpose, but that's more out of shyness than anything. Thinking of myself as an RP character would work if life were an RP, which it is not. I have to live with myself for my whole life; it's not going to end and give me a chance for a whole new character (I'm not talkign about reincarnation, by the way...).

Also, I know that I risk nothing more than rejection, but that's a lot, to me. I know it shouldn't be, but it is. I tend to preach moderation in most things; love included, I guess. Maybe that's my real problem, not shyness. I wait too long, for the perfect situation or whatever, and by then it's too late.

I have been described as "hot" and "cute" by several of my friends (female, of course), and "handsome" by my older relatives. That's as specific as I can get; I don't look draconic, or reptilian, or canine, or feline, or anything like that. Poor me.

"Damned horse-robbers," Trenton muttered loudly, stepping inside. "Four hundred thirty? I could've sold a dead cat for that."

In the alcove.

He looked around, scanning the room. There, there she was; the curtain hid all but her hair, as he knew she intended. He strolled down the hall, trying to walk straight and act calm. This place always set him on edge. Halfway down the hall, he slowed, drifted to the wall, and leaned himself against it, tapping his fingers.

"Sadri."

"What?" He straightened quickly, looking at her through the corner of his eye. She had not moved.

"You'll get the usual when you return. Sadri's rich, and you can be, too, if you're smart enough to sell outside of Kliste. Otherwise, you're dead."

"But Sadri?"

He saw a flash of gold, and looked down. Two coins hit the stone and bounced. He stepped to the side, casually, as if shifting his weight, then bent down to palm the coins.

"You're not paid to think, Trenton, or to care. You are paid to do you job, and do it well. You know where to find me, when it's done."

He stood up slowly, slipping the coins into a concealed pouch. He risked a glance at her; she still hadn't moved.

"Right. Right." He turned slowly, and began walking back the way he had come. He put his hand on the door, which swung open; he jumped back to allow the young man through.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know you we there."
"That's fine," Trenton replied. "I wasn't paying attention."

Stop him.

The young man smiled nervously at him, and walked slowly into the hall.
"How's the cake?" the caravaner asked, displaying his graveyard teeth once more.
"Fine, it's..." Trenton began, distracted. He looked over his shoulder; the young man had just noticed the alcove, and was slowly making towards it. Trenton closed the door on the caravaner, drew his knife, and crept after Kor.

I'm slightly similar to Stughalf, in that respect. I am incapable of flirting and expressing attraction, too, but I'm not a man's man. I'm reasonably sure that the majority of my friends are female (I've never counted, you know...), and I'm not entirely unattractive to them, either. My problem is that I'm too shy, and, unfortunately, many girls want the object of their attraction to ask them out, not the other way around.

"Who was that?" Agent Hannigan asked, tossing a die from hand to hand.
"Santa Claus. Who do you think?"
"I don't know, Frederick's wife?"
The secretary rolled her eyes. "Be serious. It was Granger."
Hannigan sat up quickly. "What?"
"Captain Jules Granger. I met him at a party once, his voice is unique. Didn't say who he was."
"Well, come on then, what did he say?" Hannigan got up and walked to the desk, excited. It wasn't every day that the SCPD called the Agency, let alone a specific Agent. Had word about Frederick's assassination gotten out? And it was an anonymous call, too. That had to mean something. He bent down to read the note.

"To Hannigan - Granger? Mio Randolfi... community workers... First National... can he be trusted, do you think?"
"To a degree," the secretary replied. "I doubt that he's concerned about the bank, itself, so there's got to be an ulterior motive. If he wanted to help his own reputation, he would've just told me who he was. So it's either that he's got something against the Kingz, and doesn't want his bribed officers to turn on him - or he's got something against you, or the Agency, and doesn't want the city to turn on him.

Agent Hannigan slowly straightened, paced around the desk, and sat back down.

"Which do you think it is?"
"You know how he feels about the Agency."
"Yes. Well. You know how he feels about the gangs."
"True."
"How reliable is the information?"
"Oh, I'm sure that what he told me is true. I'm equally sure that it's not all he knows, and that he withheld the rest for a reason."
"And why did he choose me, specifically?"
The secretary shrugged. "Frederick? I have no idea, really."
"Call Carter."
"You're going?"
"The Moonlighters aren't our only enemies. Yes, I'm going but I'm not going alone. Carter's still got the car, right?"
"As far as I know."
"Good. If all goes well, then, I'll see you later. If not - well, tell Hammond, he'll know what to do."
"Good luck."
Agent Hannigan snorted, and left the room.

Fifteen minutes later he was sitting in the passenger seat of Agent Carter's car, heading towards the neighborhood Granger had mentioned. He arranged his knives nervously, keeping an eye on Carter's coat; the old pistol was well-hidden, he had to concede that. He hoped it wouldn't be neccesary, though; he was on a scouting mission, not a hit. Not yet.

EDIT: Sorry about that, I thought the Sharks were Hispanic and the Kingz were not...
