Well, people still buy the Exile series, but transforming Richard White Games into freeware sounds practical. -------------------- WWJD? Posts: 1384 | Registered: Tuesday, February 6 2007 08:00 |

I'd like to voice my opinion about this. quote:Sigh...I don't think a degree is a measurement of intelligence (neither is IQ but that's another subject). What it does mean, is that you spent time and money to study the subject, and hopefully earn a higher salary in return. quote:I love that book! -------------------- WWJD? Realmz excellent music, however, I believe that it was only enjoyed by Mac users. I found Jeff's post here a little surprising. quote:Does this mean another devastating war between the two nations? -------------------- WWJD? Posts: 1384 | Registered: Tuesday, February 6 2007 08:00 |

I haven't heard of him until now. I'm going to infer that he's one of those fake Christians who scam people into thinking that their donations are going towards "saving people from evil." In my opinion, people like that are just as evil as Hitler or Clinton. -------------------- WWJD? Posts: 1384 | Registered: Tuesday, February 6 2007 08:00 |

Only once has any one observed me playing a game of Spidweb origin (which is surprising since I play them all the time). The person happened to be my little brother, who stared in awe for three hours. I submitted to his begging to play it. He didn't have any idea what he was doing, in fact, his party died fighting a bunch of rats in Fort Talrus. [ Wednesday, May 16, 2007 14:31: Message edited by: Excalibur ] -------------------- WWJD? So much for terraforming Mars, I doubt that it's actually possible. Where are you going to obtain massive amounts of Oxygen and Nitrogen to create a breathable atmosphere? Since faster-than-light travel has been rendered impossible by the law of physics, strip mining these gasses off other celestial bodies is out of question. Bacteria that evolutionists claim transformed the Earth's atmosphere are out of question, as they wouldn't survive on Mars. Even if these things were plausible, how would your fund the terraforming project. Say humans really did manage to terraform Mars: 1. As Kelandon said, the acceleration due to gravity is less than half of Earth's, most likely resulting in a plethora of health problems. 2. According to Wikipedia, the maximum temperature on Mars is 268K (which is 37 degrees Fahrenheit and 5 degrees Celsius). We'd need a lot of Russians and Scandinavians. 3. How many people would be willing to colonize Mars? Terraforming a planet with a proportionally similar atmosphere to Earth's may be possible. But unlike terraforming in EV Nova, it would probably take a very long time. -------------------- WWJD? Posts: 1384 | Registered: Tuesday, February 6 2007 08:00 |

I have to admit, this narrative is humorous in a unique kind of way. However, the story houses some weak sentences. For example, "It suddenly got up and went up Michael’s leg." lacks description and should be changed to something like this "It sprang to life and raced up Michael's leg." That wasn't the best sentence revision I could of given you, but it conveys my point clearly. The abundance of passive language in your script should be changed to active language. Active language is almost always better than passive language. I constantly revise the dialog in the scenario I'm creating, and it consumes a lot of time [ Saturday, May 12, 2007 11:24: Message edited by: Excalibur ] -------------------- WWJD? Yes, it seems as though some soul on here is also a member of Wikipedia. Hmm..., maybe it's Wikispidweb. Wikipedia happens to have an article about Spiderweb Software. Apparently, the company had a tarantula as part of the staff. Wikipedia has a link for every Spidweb series, but even more fascinating, a biographical article about Jeff Vogel. I went to the site www.ironycentral.com/ ,I didn't go any further. -------------------- WWJD? Posts: 1384 | Registered: Tuesday, February 6 2007 08:00 |

Currently, I'm a high school freshman. However I plan to attend University of Nevada, Reno after I graduate from high school. I intend to earn a bachelor's degree in secondary education and chemistry. I might minor in computer science and business also. Of course, there's always finances that become obstacles to higher education. Nevada offers something called the Millennium Scholarship. The prerequisites are becoming increasingly higher, as the funds for the program are decreasing. However, since I easily manage a 4.0 GPA, and am going to exceed the current requirements by the large margin, I'm not worried about it being unavailable to me. I've been pumping money into a bank account, so I'll have some of my own money for college. There's also a lot of scholarships offered to the school I attend that I meet the requirements for. I'll have to move away for awhile to attend college, but I wish to live here in Winnemucca the rest of my life. -------------------- WWJD? Posts: 1384 | Registered: Tuesday, February 6 2007 08:00 |
