I've often considered going through the Avernums and just editing things like what people look like and such... essentially making a mod. How come no one has ever done this before? It's great idea. -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

I was most surprised to find that the majority of people (so far) picked Formello like me. What is it about that city? I guess it has political intrigue, good quests, good surrounding dungeons. Perhaps it is the fact that it is one of first major city we visit in most of the games. Perhaps that means Jeff just did a better job on it than the later ones (Dharmon, Blossk). Either way, it's a good city, solid, if you will. In conclusion: Victory for Rentar!!! -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

quote:I take great offense to this. Hitler was a racist. Racism is not only a tool of the weak but too often it is not backed with reason and logic. My philosophy is always pragmatic, and I always back up my reasons for killing off groups of people with facts and well though out justification. I have yet to hear a convincing argument against my philosophy, while I myself can think of many against Hitler’s. Jesus: I believe that Jesus was a key part in the globalization of Christianity. Anyone could have replaced Moses, but without Jesus, Rome would not have converted and the crusades would have been diverted. We would also be free of today's current Middle East dilemma. quote:Actually, yes. I was really just going off of my own first hand experience there. Let me tell you, there is no shortage of sausages, sauerkraut, leberknuddeln (liver balls), leberkase (still not sure what this is even after eating it), pork knuckles and, uh... ice cream. They love their ice cream! They have ice cream cafes in Germany like we have coffee ones in America. I definitely felt like I was finally home when I was in Deutschland. Except for the early 90s American music that they were just getting into, that sucked. -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

If there is one institution in the history of mankind that appreciates Tullegolite philosophy it's modern American commercialism. They tell people what to think and the weak just eat it up. Those that pull the strings, telling what to look like and how to act are the most powerful people on earth. It is a god damned work of art. Almost makes me regret that I chose to major in politics. -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

quote:I wasn't going to go that far... but whatever... Admit it, you like sausages, they are mysterymeatalicious, especially those brats! As for sauerkraut, if you eat too much of it at once, it will give you a stomachache, even if you are a veteran sauerkraut-eater. I learned that lesson the hard way when I visited my German relatives a few years ago. -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

If your going to play with words, get my words right. I didn't say "lost their life for the name of" I said "killed in the name of." There is a dramatic difference, but either way it's still death. I had saving lives in mind. Jeffrey Dahmer, I guess that saves what, twenty people? Commendable, but not very impressive. -------------------- You lose. Don't listen to Dintiradan. I'm glad someone had the balls to say they'd erase Hitler from history. I was getting tired of all the "oh, I wouldn't want to ruin the time continuum, wah." Makes me sick. Not only is the question hypothetical, but really, is our current world worth keeping the way it is? -------------------- You lose. Ah, here's the problem: you thought I meant un-American politically, when really I meant it culturally. Sort of like how not eating sausage is un-German. I suppose my responses implied that I did in fact mean it politically... but really I was just taking the opportunity to debate and spread more Tullegolite philosophy. Really, I would never attack someone's patriotism, simply because disagreeing with the government is patriotic in Tullegolite philosophy, provided you intend to act upon your disapproval as opposed to just whining about it, which is the level of contribution most people are satisfied with. -------------------- You lose. If the use of a word succeeds in terminating new ideas, then the ideas were unworthy to begin with. Otherwise, should the idea flourish regardless, there was no harm done. The fact that you are getting so defensive over my use of the word ‘un-American’ shows that you are unsure of yourself, and the unsure are the weakest of the weak. -------------------- You lose. What? You dare call me weak?!? Do you wish to challenge me for leadership of the Tullegolites? It is quite the opposite from what you say, actually. Words like 'un-American' are used by the strong to control the weak. Though you got it backwards, you understand the basic idea, I think. There might be hope for you after all. -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

Alorael, you don't watch TV and you eat dried fruit and cereal as your junk food? Your obviously not from America, or, if you are, your obviously un-American. I'm imagining you as some kind of starving hermit in the middle of nowhere. It makes me want to invite you to the palace for some chocolate covered chocolate covered in butter and an entire deep-fried cow covered in butter while watching twelve straight hours of nothing but Survivor and Apprentice reruns... covered in butter. -------------------- You lose. I could never abandon World of Warcraft, and dishing out another $10-$15 a month for World of Avernum (something I would be forced to do if it existed) would really hurt my wallet. It might be free, but then you are faced with the bugs problem. Never the less, I voted yes, simply because it is against my nature to stifle an idea, even one that is destined to never come to fruition. -------------------- You lose. When was the last time that: You showered? Friday. I only shower on weekdays. You lost your cell phone? Where? Never. You lost your keys? Locked them somewhere? Never. You cut your hair? Never. You overslept? Last week, after a party. Current: Mode of transportation? Purple Cavalier. Book you are reading? Symposium. I never realized that every ancient Greek philosopher was a flaming homosexual before. Model of cell phone? Uh, it's grey... with an antenna and some buttons. Jewlery you are wearing? Does weaponry count? Game you are playing? Catching up on Blades scenarios. Fav: Cartoon? you can include cartoons that you used to like I love lots of cartoons. I can't wait for Korgoth of Barbaria to start, I loved the pilot. Baseball team? The Baseball Furies. Anyone get that one? Location? The Moon! SW oldbie Drakefyre. SW newbie? Not sure who does any doesn't count. Have you ever? Stalked someone? I never do my own dirty work. Been in love? Love is a weakness. Missed TM? Never met him... and yet... yes, very much. Gotten lost? I don't leave home unless I'm with at least one other person. Thus, I never get lost, though sometimes the people I'm with do. Thrown a pie at someone? Pie is far to tasty to soil with someone's face. Random First quote that pops into your head? "I would rather betray the world than have the world betray me." Name a red object in your room Soviet flag. Name a song that makes you sad That last song on the Akira soundtrack. If you could remove a person from history, who would it be? Jesus. Nothing against the guy personally, I just think more have been killed in his name than have been saved. If you could call someone a 'best friend', who would that be? Jesus. Ahahaha, just kidding. -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

If eating disorders are indeed genetic then I have a solution. Don't regulate anything, let the people eat what they wish. If the obese don't kill themselves off first then at least they will become so unattractive that they will be unable to reproduce. Problem solved. Regulating things like trans fats (has this been happening a lot lately?) only allows the weak to burgeon. As a Tullegolite, this displeases me greatly. Plus, I love my trans fats, they make things taste better. It makes me sad that Chicken in a Biskit will never be the same again. Edit: It seems Nabisco spells 'biscuit' wrong on purpose. I'll never understand why companies do that. [ Saturday, October 21, 2006 23:21: Message edited by: Emperor Tullegolar ] -------------------- You lose. 40 hours a week in an office, the rest of the time spent studying or writting reports for college. I'm around a computer a lot. When I'm working I like to frequently reward myself with internet breaks to keep from killing myself. Good thing I found these boards, eBaum's World was getting old. -------------------- You lose. I think we can begin to form a theory here. Nethergate is a community favorite, and its music seems to be the most popular. Avernnum 2 is generally a close second, and its music is very popular as well. Could it be that people base their opinion on which game is the best on the music? I always knew you guys had terrible opinions, now it all makes sense. Whoever voted for Exile III is the hero of the day. -------------------- You lose.
