The way Fallout worked was that instead of showing you a big range circle, it just showed the exact number of action points required to move to where ever your cursor was. Nice and simple. -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

Return of the Jedi. I love the smell of roasted Luke in the morning. I am also probably the only one that liked Revenge of the Sith. One word: epic-senate-chamber-room-battle. -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

A range indicator, like in Fallout? I like it, especially for the Geneforge AP style. This gets my Emperor's Seal of Approval. -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

Uhg... a confirm option. Say it isn't so! The only time I've ever found one of these useful is when I'm about to destroy an army of monsters in front of me with a spell and several of them are, in fact, allies. -------------------- You lose. Avernum 2: Yeah, clearly electric guitar and piano set a great mood for a fantasy rpg. Geneforge 3: When I see the title screen, with a shaper and two mysterious creations busting through a door ready to launch their attack, I am highly let down by the lighthearted pipes and whatnot in the theme music. Geneforge 2: My choice. Epic. It fits the title screen and sets the mood for the game well. It makes me want to wave my arms around like I’m some kind of shaper lord. Sometimes I do... and sometimes I am a shaper lord... -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

Each Spiderweb game has a little bit of music that plays along with the title screen, which also includes a nice picture as well. Which little theme song is your favorite? Warning: I will say that your choice is wrong, no matter what you say, no matter how much of an opinion it is. You'd think that by now people would be taking advantage of new technology. Why not hold court through a video phone conference or something? Hey, if doctors can stay at home operating sophisticated surgery machinery (not sure if this is really done or if I saw it in a movie at some point), why can't judges hear cases from the comfort of their homes? -------------------- You lose. Best riddle ever was that pointless goblin riddle in Erika's tower where the best solution was just to kill them. I love riddles that end like that. -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

I guess you would have preferred something like "oh, the poor small businesses, wah, it just not fair, complain, complain, complain." Just because I tend to exaggerate my opinions when I explain them doesn't mean it's not what I really think. By the way, it is too fun. -------------------- You lose. In that case, Andraste, the law does need to be changed, after all. Obviously, if a business is powerful enough to sway the motives of the government, then it deserved that land, no matter who it belongs to! The laws should be made even harsher! It makes for stronger businesses which makes for a more powerful nation. Getting rid of eminent domain allows the weak to flourish, and will hurt more people overall. -------------------- You lose. For DVD series, I have Da Ali G Show seasons 1-2, Ren & Stimpy all seasons, and Star Trek the Original Series all seasons. I have too many DVD movies to name. The most important include SpaceBalls, Braveheart (you haven't seen this movie until you've watched the battle scenes in slow motion), Labrynth, Bad Taste and Evil Dead (all three). Tyranicus: I am impressed with your Star Trek collection, though I never understood how someone who enjoys the great Star Trek could enjoy Stargate as well. -------------------- You lose. I never said a villain couldn't be fleshed out and have a personality, in fact, that can only enhance them. You all forget the matter at hand, however. Why Stalker, what makes him so much better than the other choices? He was not so fleshed out, he remains mysterious until you meet him towards the end, at which point all you hear his generic "save the peasants" argument. What makes him so special? Edit: Alorael: Maybe it doesn't, it's just how I feel. I tend to take a historical perspective when I look at the world today. When I see a country, I see it's entire history, not just it's current situation. This is important when looking at things such as the Middle East situation. Crusades, anyone? We were not alive when they happened, yet we continue to pay for them. [ Thursday, October 19, 2006 20:24: Message edited by: Emperor Tullegolar ] -------------------- You lose. I'll have you know I never beat a Spiderweb game without cheating (making myself more powerful, not looking at puzzle answers). The same goes for every game I ever played except for World of Warcraft, but I would cheat at that if I could. You see, I don't play games for a challenge, though I get the impression that most people do. I play solely for story, kind of an alternative to reading those fantasy novels you see at the book store. Who reads those anyway? It's a matter of why you game, really. -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

quote:What? The Rocky and Rambo series were institutions I tell you! Institutions! I agree that Dungeons & Dragons was horrible, I think there might even have been a sequel to it, which is tragic. I think the worst overall movie would be something like The Pacifier. You guys seem to be picking movies that have just one or two bad elements. In that case, I'd choose Flight of the Phoenix, for a single line: “but captain, we only have two ignitors left!” Who wrote that? I want his job. -------------------- You lose. I don’t know, the release date is dangerously close the the release date of the World of Warcraft expansion pack. Might that effect sales? I mean, World of Warcraft is a staple of the Mac RPG gaming community and that is Jeff's primary audience as well. -------------------- You lose. I am blessed with having access to HBO and Showtime: Dexter (Best new show out there) Weeds Curb Your Enthusiasm Sopranos Entourage Regular shows that I also watch: Boston Legal (Glad I'm not the only one, this show is so good) Desperate Housewives South Park The Office The Simpsons Lost Survivor: Master Race Heroes (Might stop watching this soon) Do news-ish shows count? Shows like: Chris Matthews, Meet the Press, The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. Also, I know this doesn't count, but I was given the Star Trek original series for my birthday and have been watching those as well. -------------------- You lose.
