This was a useless group to help Al get across the desert. A midget that had to run to keep up with them walking and a collector of junk out to collect more. This village didn't have anyone that could hunt coming with them. At least the collector in his scrap collection wanderings would know the way. Now there was probably more bad news from that feeble priest that ran the village. Probably that more food had turned bad so there wouldn't be any supplies. He had heard rumors that there had been someone else that had already headed out before he had arrived. Some idiot with a skin condition that they hadn't minded seeing leave. The three went inside where Kelleth was upset. "The demon was seen inside the village. " Al wondered what really happened. Demons didn't exist. Maybe there was some alcohol left in the village. It's just the way Jeff made the game so that all parties would start with certain skills that aren't increaseable by skill points. I forget if you can use the character editor to fix the starting characters. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

It's because spawners don't move that they aren't included for players. After all why create something that sits in one spot when you have to move around. Even its spawned creations would be clustered there so you would have to lure anything you want to kill back to the spot. There was a discussion once about modifying the spawner script where it's motion was changed from 0 (zero). The reaction at having a spawner chase a player was hilarious. I think the feather is an alien parasite advance scout that has found a weak mind to control as its race plans to take over the world. Look at how big it's gotten in the last year and the more bizarre ET's behavior has become. :) Of course I could be wrong and that is ET's real behavior. quote:You're on the list of banned and allowed to return, as opposed to the permabanned list with TM, Ed, and a few others that talked about cracked games to avoid the registration process. If you were punished for the slightest infractions you would be banned again for language in this topic and attacking Nioca and Nalyd for not supporting you. The Establishment can deal with you when you attack him without our support. I think your topics our probably why you get to come back. In some ways you provide something useful even if it's only as an example since TM isn't around to flame people when they get out of place. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

It depends upon which version of the game you are playing. Original Nethergate had hidden stats that added to increase things like tool use. Nethergate: Resurrection removes this because it uses Blades of Avernum game engine. First aid and herbcraft I don't think have the hidden stats in their actually being used, but it original Nethergate they are increased by increasing intelligence. In order not to clutter up Spiderweb Resistance topic when Aran reopens it to celebrate the next chapter, I'm starting this topic as a place for all you spammers to get it out of your systems. This is the place for all those marginally related posts that don't fall into a current topics and any other comments on Dikiyoba's latest episode. This topic is to be closed when the UBB is about to eat it in disgust at its bloated size. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

*shakes a magic 8 ball* Doesn't seem likely. Keladon once said that Blades of Avernum could be modified to give a Geneforgish game with NPCs being used for creations and some other specials to duplicate spells. It would be a lot of work since you wouldn't have the interface showing essence level but that could be dealt with as a message at the bottom. I mostly only have time for Knights of the Dinner Table. It's a nice look at pen and paper gaming and reminds me of the groups I've played with. Never though of tying the game master to the ceiling fan after a bad session. :) I used to read the old DC and Marvel comics when I was younger and could borrow them from friends. Edit - Forgot the comics version of Myth Adventure that was illustrated by Phil Foglio and his other works Buck Godot and What's New With Phil and Dixie. Also pretty much anything that was in The Dragon. Studio Foglio [ Sunday, April 06, 2008 12:52: Message edited by: Randomizer ] Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

quote:No idea since Jeff hasn't revealed any plot details except this game will be larger than usual in order to avoid Geneforge 6. quote:Jeff says he wants to do a new world. Also that he will update the older Avernum and Geneforge games to the newer game engines so they will run on more recent computers. quote:I think Jeff will group Avernum 4 through 6 as a trilogy with the Darkside Loyalist theme. The Sword of Shannara was such a blatant rip-off of The Lord of the Rings it almost ruined the later books that started to develop their own style. After Terry Brooks got over the first novel his later works were much better and relied less on copying Tolkien. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |
