I remember WKS had to double post to crash TM's undead thread. He wasn't happy that the first post had insufficient postage.

For Rebels, in general, and on how to get the Repair Moseh quest .

That's about all the useful topics from a quick brute force look.

Moseh will attack at the start. Depending upon whether you have gotten the Repair Moseh quest from Alwan or not will decide whether Moseh is openly hostile and start draining you of stats and abilities. Then there is an option based on whether you recruited the servile from the Safehouse.

I forget what the leadership level is that will shorten the fight (I think you have enough). Also you have to have helped the other two that control the barrier so one will takeover some of Moseh's duties.

There was a topic from when the game came out that covers this in more detail.

There are two. They are hidden in the Slith fort and I think the Swamp City. See here since the answer is the same as in Exile.

Jeff has no current plans to rewrite his games for online playing. Plus there is a huge cost for hardware to support players for online games. He has considered making a version for XBox, but hasn't done anything about it.

Right now Jeff is writing Geneforge 5 for release on Macs in November/December.

I always liked the Marx Brothers - Groucho, Chico, Harpo, and Karl (anyone else remember seeing them all together on TV?).

You forgot to include none of the above as an option.

It's simple physics, a body at rest tends to remain at rest unless acted upon by an outside force. In this case the host failing to allow the site to stay intact.

I know what you mean. My dorm at the University of Arizona was under the flight path for Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. Freshman year, they missed my room by that much as an A-10 pilot tried to aim for the only open field in his route before crashing. His seat landed about 60 feet (20 meters) from my room and the plane turned as he ejected so it crashed into a car in the street next to the field killing 2 people.

Who cares about the weapons, the whole plane is a tank of fuel waiting for a target.

Checked my account number so I'm fine with the 7500 cutoff. Maybe 8000 as an even number.

Or we could delete all members that don't make useful posts at a certain level. It'll force some members not to constantly spam.

The troubles seem to have no pattern since they occur at times when there is little activity.

I letting my PhD gather dust. I did some work in micro-cavity enhancement of non-linear light and became convinced that classical theory was missing something. It took me years to figure out I could use semi-classical theory instead of full quantum mechanical to solve the problem and never got around to doing the calculations. Too much thought into how to find a simple way to show that terms were zero without major calculations.

This probably stems from my frustrations at writing computer code for other people's problems instead of my own. I got listed in some papers in polarized light scattering for computer support. I'm still mad that I got called a thoeretician for that when I'm an experimentalist.

But what do you do outside the boards?

I got a PhD in physics which qualifies me to beta test computer games.

It's about 10% more in A3 at Fort Emergence than New Cotra and I think also in A1 between Fort Dranlon and Almaria. It adds up for the more expensive items later in the game.

Didn't Shaft start Blacksploitation?

It was the most famous and they remade it as part of the second wave.

You're both right about the Crusades. Muhammad and his descendants were indeed conquerors who took those lands and forced the residents to convert. The Crusades were started as a campaign to protect the right to pilgrimage, but since they were lead by ambitious individuals, they turned into bloody political conquests. Don't forget all the jews they managed to take out on their way to the holy land as well.

Apparently, they ransacked all the Christian towns they stayed in too.

It depends upon which Crusade. While most were directed against regaining the Holy Land, they also included attacks against the Eastern Church at Byzantium. Rome decided to get back at all it's rivals.

I disagree. When was the last time a major motion picture even had a non-white main protagonist? The answer: never. You don't think directors take this into account when doing casting?

Shaft may not have been award winning, but it was a non-white hero and successful.

You don't miss out on much. Just a few spellbooks and that guy that makes knowledge brews for extra skill points.

There isn't any hurry in raising mage spell level since you can always come back later for training in other spells.

Al packed up his belonging and prepared to trudge through the mud. When he got back to the capitol in triumph he would write a stern letter to the proper authorities about the lack of road maintanence out here in the remote provinces. The local lords had completely failed to maintain the road to Salintu. How was he expected to get there with this pathless desert to cross.

At least his potions were still intact. He would need them if he ran into any trouble. Although he hadn't seen anything bigger than a bird. Why did they keep circling above him?

Jeff has two things against including music, the first is cost for decent music and the second is increasing the file size since most users are dial up.

About when? I have (more or less) from issue 50ish to 110ish. Be happy to scan and email.

According to the issue index in #112 - the first mention of the new player alchemist class is issue #2 (that's going to be expensive to get now) and the last was issue #49 where it had been nerfed down to NPC status. I really wished I had copied it back then. I suppose someday I'll eBay The Dragon reprints that were on CD-ROMs to get it.
