There is a wheel you have to turn. After you kill the commander, start looking through the side rooms. The wheel isn't in a secret passage, but it is in an out-of-the-way location. Dikiyoba. Originally by Nikki: quote:There were balloons in the first act. That's how Alorael got revived, remember? No coffee, though. Originally by GoldenKing: quote:That was a flamer, though. The flamers have always spoken perfectly. And Dikiyoba wouldn't say that the noobs are spooky. Annoying is a much better description. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Originally by Delicious Vlish: quote:There is a Shaper body there, but it's been there since the island was evacuated. At least, that's my impression from the description text: quote:The fact that it exists at all after two centuries is a little improbable, although the Shaper might not have been left behind from the evacuation. He or she might have died a century ago when the head researchers came back to create their tomb. And Shapers do use lots of toxic chemicals in their work, so perhaps the chemicals helped preserve the body. But for whatever reason that it's there, it's certainly not recent. Dikiyoba. Yes, Goettsch was a fully trained Shaper. Dikiyoba thinks that Greta would use canisters if she were out adventuring on her own and not traveling with the main character. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Originally by Tyranicus: quote:I wish people were a little better at covering all the bases when it comes to my name. Too many forms have only one tiny blank that doesn't fit one of my middle names, let alone both of them. Also, I had a teacher once who went on a lengthy rant about having two middle names without checking to make sure that no one in the class had two of them. And that's just Dikiyoba's middle names. When it comes to Dikiyoba's first name, many people are caught unawares in the outfield. At least Dikiyoba has a last name that people have no trouble getting right. I don't know how much I like sci-fi. However, I like Geneforge a lot, and a lot of what I write ends up being a combination of sci-fi and fantasy, so I wouldn't mind another game that combines the two elements. However, Dikiyoba would like see a humorous fantasy RPG more than a sci-fi RPG. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Originally by Snoflake: quote:So G2 wasn't awesome? What's the difference between it and the other two? Anyway, Jeff probably has the G4 engine all figured out, it will probably be the same engine as G3, just with improvements and more features. And please break further posts down into shorter, simpler sentences. That last paragraph should be six or seven sentences, not one. It is very difficult for Dikiyoba to read and comprehend it. In G1, there are also less spells, so the Agent doesn't have nearly as many to rely on. Besides, you are used to playing as a Guardian, so you will be more comfortable playing as a Guardian. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Yes, creating scenarios takes a long time and requires a lot of effort. That's why you should start with a very small and simple scenario. And since it doesn't sound like you are familiar with the BoA Editor, try to create a working town or working dungeon before you try to create a scenario to get used to town design, scripting, dialogue, etc. Dikiyoba.
