I can't believe I've never clicked on one of your fanfix topics before yesterday. I guess it grew so fast I was just intimidated into staying away. But as the forum has been rather quiet for the past few days, I decided to take a peek.

I've read through both scripts since. I even dreamed about it last night, so my review:

Attack of the Noobs -
Wow! That was great. I laughed, I cried, I died...

I enjoyed it very much, and not just because I was in it. ;)

I'll have to wait till the end to review the sequel, I don't think I can judge it fairly till then.

The forums are never quiet, but they do have their slow days.

Can't wait to see what happens when the mages finish bringing back the rest and start hunting the thing. Any chance that the pursuit will go into the hidden geneforge forums?

Possibly. But as the GIFTRs said, hunting the thing is not the way to do it.

The GIFTRs also think that collecting garbage is a legitimate past-time.

Quote me on that one, if you wish.

Oh, come on. If the least significant character says something like that, it's usually true. Besides, Dikiyoba wouldn't have put it in there if it wasn't plot significant.

And the illiterate shall inherit the gun.

What will be the silver bullet for the thing? Oxford? Websters? Cuz I've read some Fforde, and I'll have to ask you to step out of the vehicle and show me your literary license, ma'am.

I believe that the Thing also changes how noobs speak. For example, on the Encyclopedia Ermariana, or Wiki or whatever it was, the noobs spook perfectly. As for the "silver bullet" perhaps it is a mirror?

Unless she wanted us to specualte a little more...

I'm all for believing mutant, talking roaches, but there's a time and a place. And a fictional script with no balloons or coffee is certainly not the place.

There were balloons in the first act. That's how Alorael got revived, remember? No coffee, though.

That was a flamer, though. The flamers have always spoken perfectly.

And Dikiyoba wouldn't say that the noobs are spooky. Annoying is a much better description.

They weren't red. There wasn't 99. Nena was nowhere to be seen. And I didn't get to hold them. Therefore, I refuse to accept the existance of said balloons.

Two words: totally awesome. This is the best thing to happen to my fanfix counterpart since resurrection! Now, if only I could understand anything the thing says. It's always incomrpehensible.

I agree, very exciting.

I sat for ten minutes trying to think of more to say so this wasn't so spammy (a trend I've noticed in my posts lately). I couldn't come up with anything acceptable.

I could take the opportunity to say I'm going on my annual trip to the Black Hills tomorrow, but 'goodbye, I'll be gone for a week' posts are so tacky.

I could also moan and weep and gnash my teeth that I haven't had a speaking part yet in E2: RotS, but that would be very rude. Plus attention that has to be begged for is only one-tenth as satisfying as freely given attention.

An expression of love to TM would be out of place here, as well. Smotherings must be set up properly.

Anyhoo, since these are all unappropriate at the time, I'll just have to leave it as a one liner. I hope I don't get canned.

I like the verious ways in which The Thing affects different people's language. Although at this rate, the dialogue in the script will soon become unreadable without significant descrambling efforts. (Is this why new installments are taking so long to write?)

And considering the number of demon-summoning accidents, those mages need several priests standing ready with Repel Spirit whenever they try to summon anything. :)

After reading Act 7 I'm at a loss for words, dumbfounded. Oh well it wore off. Dikiyoba should let the thing hang back for a while and let us kill each other off. Given enough time we're our own worst enemies.

Well, Goldenking became totally controlled by the thing.
Perhaps this heralds a battle between the thing-attacked Spiderwebbers and normal Spiderwebbers?

Wow, I'm the seven act. Thanks, Diki.

(How She know where I hidden my treasure? Hmm...)

I haven't a nice flaming sword in the first Episode? :P

Whoa, I'm lucky. The thing haven't destroyed my almost perfect punctuation. ;) (Anagrams? Duh.)

Or, at least, not yet, since I'm attacked. No matter, if my treasure rest safe. :D
(Hoping that the thing don't make me the inverse of greed...)

Hey, when I was resurrected?
