What's "scribban"? Blasphemy! Divine Retribution was never effective against demons! Now, if Ephesos had cast Ravage Spirit, I would have understood, but I think all demons are immune to most magical attacks, including Divine Retribution (in A3, it only damages living targets, and in A4, it's a fire attack, and demons are very resistant to fire). Demons are well-known for summoning other creatures. It's quite likely the divine retributions were directed at the summoned ones rather than the demons. -------------------- ~Note : The professional newbie's advice should not be taken seriously, or at all.~ LINKAGE Posts: 364 | Registered: Saturday, January 17 2004 08:00 |

Don't bring me back until the GIFTRs are done. I hated them in A3/E3. If TM is attacked by that thing, does his censored speech become gibberish or censored gibberish? Will the protectors have to hold a special meeting in what is left of the Moderator Forum to decide? Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

not that I am complaining, oh hell yes, I AM COMPLAINING! its no fun being resurrected then left to cackle in the corner while others get the glory in the big battle scenes. I agree that my demonstrated innefectiveness with a bow (I once shot a stun arrow into my foot and was frozen for days) limits my usefullness but dammit I am a glory hound and DEMAND I make an appearance (no mention of me in scenes 4 to 8, since the resurrection) -------------------- "Dikiyoba ... is demon ... drives people mad and ... do all sorts of strange things." All three of my accounts are working again, so Act 5, Scenes 1, 2, and 3, 4, and 5 are where they belong now. ----- Originally by Arancaytar: quote:Thanks. I'd like to stay on Freewebs for now, though, until it really starts giving me problems. ----- Randomizer, Fatman: I actually had Scene 4 written before your posts, but it was held back because I decided to rewrite a part of Scene 3. So now Slarty is the Bovinegelical mage now? Heck, I don't even know why Ephesos is always the priest anyway, why ask stupid questions. -------------------- ??? ?????? ???? ????? Posts: 883 | Registered: Wednesday, October 19 2005 07:00 |

The episodes keep getting more and more funny. :) I particularly liked Slarty's scene with the 9-headed Cave Cow and its priestly spells. And Infernal's word-replacements. -------------------- Be careful with a word, as you would with a sword, For it too has the power to kill. However well placed word, unlike a well placed sword, Can also have the power to heal. Posts: 2649 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

quote:I hate undead, I was a Buddhist monk in Slarty's comic strip, and then there's the layout of my site (pokes sig). It kind of suggests priestliness. Correction: you are dressed like a Buddhist monk. You're still the same old undead-hating druid. I'm contemplating doing some more strips, but now I'm actually starting to be pressed for time, what with moving across the country in a month. Hmm. I should probably spend less time on these boards. But there are so many spells to research. Colt of Fire. Cattle Rage. Sticks to Steaks. Bovine Thud. And, of course, the divination spell of Magic Crap. -------------------- Slarty vs. Desk • Desk vs. Slarty • Timeline of Ermarian • G4 Strategy Central Posts: 3560 | Registered: Wednesday, November 7 2001 08:00 |

One would think that Magic Crap would be used to blind people instead of divining stuff. =\ -------------------- Polaris - owns you. Undead Theories - double U slash E Posts: 3323 | Registered: Thursday, April 25 2002 07:00 |
