I've mostly only played 8+ scens so far, so this one goes to "Bandits"- beating out "Lamentations" and "A Little Girl". :D If you could fix one bug in BoE or the scenario editor, what would it be? - I suppose Emptys are annoying. There's lots of horribles, but only one can be the absolute worst. - Of the candidates, I've only played "A Little Girl." That said, it sucked pretty bad. What is your favorite scenario in the Adventurer's Club trilogy? - Started AC1, but got tired of it before I left Independence Citt. So none. What is your favorite BoE fansite? - The Lyceum What do you think would happen if Alcritas returned to the Lyceum as an active member once more? - It'd be nice, but I'd only care if he made another scenario. And if said scenario was more like "Apology" and less like everything else he made. What scenario do you think should have won the first design contest? - Wow, I haven't played any of those scens, though I am in the middle of NG. It seems pretty good, so I'll go with that. They don't need motivation to fight, so long as there is a pissed off necromancer(or demon, or vampire, or anybody else it seems) that has a bone to pick with a nearby town then undead are bound to be present. The other monsters you mentioned can have motivations and can be well developed. Did the villain trick the goblins into fighting? Are the centaurs ticked off because of a cultural misunderstanding? Who knows, but its pretty safe to say that if undead are being used then they are just being summoned by behind the scenes villain. Sure they can be good, the most cliched monster can be good and the most original can suck, it just often turns out that udnead are on the sucky end. -------------------- Guaranteed to blow your mind. The prepackaged scenarios are a safe bet, since opening up a complex scenario like Canopy could just be confusing, and opening up a scenario by a poor or sloppy scripter (cough me cough) would most likely teach you poor scripting. -------------------- Guaranteed to blow your mind. I'd add that the Louvre has some graphics that are meant to be used as PC's, so checking that out might save you some time. And what exactly is Spiderweb's 'no modifying default graphics' rule?
