Got your attention, didn't it? :D

Okay, here's the scoop.
Some... foolish idiot... on a whim decided to branch off onto a new website .

This is where you come in.

I'm trying to compile a complete list of Spiderweb fan sites (yes, an impossible task, hence the title).

So post 'em already!

I personally consider background music to be amateurish for a website, but this is a person who runs a simple HTML site with light text on a black background, so consider the source. :P

My USPS-speed internet connection wept.

Then I pressed the x and ended the misery.

Be kind to those of us with less than stellar connections, it is not always an available convenience.

Other than that, nice plans, good to see a lot of things that may not happen in the future, especially if the bridge was accidently burnt. Oh, and why the background? I notice it is the same as Nemesis'. Are you the same person? Are you? Well? :P

This might help.

Some of those sites are horribly out of date, however.

I'd also add that the common practice is to toot one's horn by touting one's uncompleted scenario, you should join in.

In response to feedback, I have attempted to take the music down.
The site tells me that it's down.
It's supposed to be down!

I'm sure we all feel better now that that is straightened out. Don't you? You do! Right? Right.

I personally believe that background music on a website (especially tinny midi) should count as extenuating circumstances for murder. But this is from someone who gets seizures when his XHTML doesn't validate, which probably gets points for anal-retentiveness. :P

But on the plus side, it's easier to avoid double posting if you consistently make that mistake (as opposed to the other way around). I can't ever click on the quote button without first clicking on the edit button. It's why I cut-and-paste so often.

This topic is actually a rather fortunate coincidence for me. Kudos to the first person who can figure out why.

Oh, and this is Dikiyoba's main account, from which all of Dikiyoba's other sites can be accessed. Just in case anyone couldn't find it in Dikiyoba's signature or profile.

There is also this little list.

My website would be the one on the top of Spiderweb's list.

No, it has not given me a big head. I'll have you know I had this big head way before I got to the top of Spiderweb's list. ;)

Edit: You have started Episode 3!!

Maybe I'm alone in this, but I don't mind music on a website. I mind bad music on a website, and most music is bad if you play it long enough.

—Alorael, who is also of the opinion that nearly every MIDI is bad if you play it for more than a couple of seconds without extremely mitigating circumstances. The web is anything but mitigating.

TM's BoE links and my BoA links should cover Blades.

As far as "fan sites," you might throw in Desp and Polaris, even though the latter is now only tangentially related to Spiderweb and the former even less (or so I am told — I haven't been to either in months or years). Spidweb's own links page probably has a few SW game sites that aren't otherwise covered.

Nice site, looks very clean.

Every time I see "the Bunker" I think of this, which I visited a while ago. It had some creepy videos from the sixties about how to protectively pad out your home in the event of fallout, and a room full of huge telecommunications equipment which I laughed at until I realised that my mobile didn't work at 20 metres below ground.

I wish I knew what Kudos was. (Were? Sigh.)

Is. It's a singular noun, derived from the Greek for "praise".

I made a page for Geneforge 2, but never quite finished it. Also, 0catch seems to have changed from purely banner ads to assulting you with popups. But here it is anyway.

Kudos is a noun. It means 'a large role in the new ongoing episode'.*

I can assure you that we're not the same person. I haven't checked out this site yet, but I'm at least 101% certain that it's run better than mine is. You know… seeing as I can't even edit mine anymore.

You won't find much at Nioca's Citadel, but if you want to link to it, be my guest.

EDIT: I just discovered today that Kelandon has already linked to my Website. Speaking of which, I probably need to get over there and update a few things...

Eh, I'll do it later.
