Actually, I distinctly remember, in the back way into the Nephilim Fort, west of Fort Ganrick (E2), there is a moldy stalagmite, which you can use move mountains on, behind it is a body with some equipment, if I remember correctly. Never came across a moldy stalagmite in E3 though. Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

To be perfectly honest, I don't rightly know. Nor am I likely to find out until I start. I imagine that dressing smartly and coffee are most certainly going to be involved. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

No, but just about anything more detailed than that could count as copyright infringement. Besides, chances are that Jeff will just stick with the standard hack'n'slash, kill the evil empire type of thing. Let's just hope that he doesn't take the Genforge engine and do another set of remakes based on the original Exile series. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Intellectual Copyright. Ever heard of it? Also it may have been used before in other copyrighted works and somehow I don't think he wants to risk a lawsuit. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Well, anyway, I'm starting my work experience next week (hopefully not going to be too bad). It's at the Houses of Parliament. w00t! Have any of you done/is going to do work experience? If so, what was it/is it likely to be like? Do share... -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

This isn't the sort of board where siblings generally turn up. Occasionally r/l friends because one has introduced an SW game to another. This isn't a particularly sociable board. If there was a board designed for randomness and chat, then maybe you'd see more, but Misc is dead and buried (literally) and we must move on. In the case of this young gentleman, however, I will say "hello" and "just because I use long words, it doesn't make me smart. In fact, I'm as dumb as toast. Literally". You're not the only one to find recycling tough. [ Tuesday, October 19, 2004 16:58: Message edited by: FatBatMonkey ] Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

quote:Wash your mouth out with soap and pay penance to the god of good taste. It appears that I cannot compete with myself when arriving at statements of such a variety. And a time and a place for every purpose under the heavens, it is all about sanity to a point. Envy is not something that you should place close to your heart. I may not be fit for banning, but I may as well walk that line anyway. Though Ben's advice is good too. And makes a heck of alot more sense. I love being prophetic. :D -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Probably (if I understand what you are saying), because you have essence that has been "spent" on a creation. This essence cannot be regained until the creature has died or you have absorbed it. Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

They do offer impersonality, but they lead to topics such as this... Bottom line, they're okay if you have a sensible question about the demographics or opinion of board members, but other than that, they're not much use, take up space and lead to plain stupidity. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Ben, considering I'm never going to get un-canned, I'm feeling free to be as much a pain in the arse as I can. The best they can do is ban me. I've played E1-3, A1-3, Nethergate, BoE and G1 and 2. Beaten E1-3, Geneforge 1 and Nethergate, the only other ones that I registered was A1-3, but that was about two weeks ago. Playing three campaigns simultaniously, I'm about a third of the way through each. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

If it wasn't for the fact that people in my town don't bother with Halloween, I might've been tempted to go out and laugh at people in really silly costumes. As it is, I'm just going to laugh. Skribbane is a substance found in E3/A3. It is highly addictive, but can raise your battle powers. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

I would have come to pay homage at my 1000th post, but I remain a "spammer", so I did not. Then again, I suppose it made me a "veteran spammer", so either which. Ooo fun! This was actually spam, wasn't it? Run along and play with the others, like a good little spam. That is all. EDIT: Polls back! w00t? [ Monday, October 18, 2004 13:52: Message edited by: FatBatMonkey ] -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Then again, by the time you really can start affording blessing pools, you generally can get blessed or exceptional items through quests and fighting. Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Have you been told where it is yet? You have to go to the GIFTRs (the roaches whom are friendly) and ask around about it there. Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Alo, I'm on dialup. The SR boards allow fairly large avatars and I still don't get much in the way of performance degradation. I believe, also, that if you have the ability to allow all members to have avatars, there is the power to remove the priviledge from those who abuse it. Also, though I am even more hazy about this, moderators can be given extra powers, in this case, wouldn't it be possible to allow mods to deal with infractions, without having to bother Drakey or *i? And to be a blatant hack and use a take-off, Deep Down, You Know You Should Have Avatars. Yup. The goblins in question are just south of the river on the right hand side of the main map next that is just south of Nethergate. But you only get something like 5 gold a time. Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

This is probably a stupid question, but it's driving me up the wall. In the throne room, I defeated the demon and minions, I got the Mica Tome, however I cannot seem to find a way into the room to the north. My true sight says there's something there. I remember from E2, that there's something there. I cannot, however, find a way in or a lever anywhere. Errmmm... help? Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Well, in that case, I would say that considering the quote:that it is claimed that SW has, why not have avatars? If you keep them to a certain size they don't take any time at all to load and they're pretty cool. Hmmmm...? -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |
