I think I can just about put up with a lack of creativity in an A4, but to create a G4 would, most likely, really end up a travesty of nature. I mean, when taking into account the themes in 1 and 2, a 4 would be over-cliched. Which I really didn't think was possible.

It'll happen. Whether it's a good thing or not, after G3 and A4 (or whatever he's doing), will come BoG. You can bet my socks on it.

Hmmm... the thing about Watchill is that you can get that servile on your side, who pretty much takes care of it all.

Thinking about it, I think that it is possible to complete the game (definately not every quest) without raising a hand in fighting or geting a creation to do so. You'd have to do some sweet manuvering to get past Sholai lands, if you use trickery, you can kill Trajkov and not have to fight his guards. The control key can be gotten without a fight. Then you can use the servant mind to sneak into the docks and off the island. So, yeah, it probably is possible to get one or more endings without killing anyone.

Presumably, Pearlblossom was the start of a side-quest concerning the Castle that either never got in or no-one has stumbled on to it. Something like tracking down who the thief of the earrings was and battling some undead creature to get them back and break her curse.

I may be wrong about this, but it'd make sense.

I'm all but certain that Nethergate will work. I run on a PC that's so old, that it could be defined as an antique and Nethergate works fine for me.

The main reason why there aren't any topics is that Nethergate is the sort of game which makes you want to work out each puzzle on your own, to make it your achievement. The only topics we really have is where someone is either really stuck or has found something odd or new.

Oh yes, w00t for me also! I got the Avernum Trilogy today! Here come many hours of anti-productivity!

Well, Oxbridge has a large quantity of prestige attached. They have the largest budgets and the most resources, generally speaking.

Then there are three other types.

There's the "second rate" colleges. They aren't really second rate. Some rival Oxbridge for quality. If I remember correctly, Southampton and Loughborough are good examples of this type.

Then there are the Polytechnics. They tend towards more practical courses and will generally specialise in a particular field. Anglia Polytechnic is a good example. These, in their fields, can give a better standard of education than Oxbridge, but there is a stigma occasionally attached to them.

Then there are rest. They have a special name, but to be honest I can't remember it. They're generally the local unis. The quite small ones. The ones that unless you live in the local area, you are unlikely to ever hear of them. North Herts College is the only one I know of. Generally, no-one intends to go to one of these. Unless it's a really specialist course, like car part manufacture or something equally esoteric.

The mark may not count for anything, but it still isn't a fail, which was my point to start off with.

And as for the Daily Mail, while, to my limited knowledge concerning it, it does seem to print too many stories concerning the so-called "failing education system", I do not read it unless I am suffering from sheer boredom, in which case I would normally go for the Guardian first, nor does what it print reflect upon the people who read it. Even you should know that.

Don't talk rubbish, FBM. 30% of my year is not expected to get five A-C grades, and we're the best year the school has ever had.
And the award for putting your foot in your mouth goes to:

I said that failing your exams is nigh-on impossible. A D is not a fail, muppeteer. If I remember correctly, it is either an F or G that is a failing mark.

So, in conclusion, Withoutabix.

Fine. However, hypocracy to a point.

I will retract my statement. And if it to be discussed, discuss it, instead of complaining that your previous attempt was locked.

Ahh.... I get it. You are running WinXP. Which I think, if I remember correctly, has drivers which are, in effect, overspecced for Exile. All of the other SW games should work, though, because they were developed with later OS's in mind.

Also, if I remember correctly, BoA will not work under Win95 (probably more importantly, a 16-bit OS and Win95 drivers). Which is why I'm going to have to wait until I build a new PC with a different OS to try it. :(

School? What's this school thing I keep hearing about?

No, seriously, I don't know what the actualese speak is for the marking system my school (before I became Home Ed) had, but my grades would be somewhere around A2. First being achievement, second being effort. Practically speaking, maths, IT, psych and related subjects, about degree level, the rest is mixed between A-Level and GCSE areas. My reading and writing levels were off the scale last time I was tested. Sense no makes.

And Dolney, over here, it is nigh-on physically impossible to fail exams. They're too easy. Dumbing down really does exist.

More to the point, you directly and overtly posted comments that were against the CoC. You did not invite discussion about it. You simply stated a hatred towards a different type of sexuality. While flaming did occur, your offense was the greater.

EDIT: Following further reading, I retract this statement.

Conversing with smart people is very similar to conversing with idiots. It is people who perceive "class", who "talk different" and judge people based on it. These people are known as damnible fools.

The point of an IQ test is not what you answered to the questions, but instead, how you answer them. These "multiple choice" tests nowadays are just stupid.

And besides, some people test very well, some don't. It's no measure of intelligence nor IQ. All it does is promotes adversity and pointlessness.

Hmm... I run the Exiles under Win95 just fine. Hmmm... this may sound really obvious, but two things, one, are you sure you didn't download the Mac versions by mistake? And two, are you sure you weren't just running something net-based at the same time and the downloads became corrupted?

Other than that, I don't know, the error type sounds driver related, but for the life of me I can't think what could be incompatible.

Actually, wasn't the exact words "killed down to a man and a woman", implying to my mind that they might have survived to escape.

Though considering the four-PC party system, well so much for that idea.

Thinking about it, it might be interesting to see a BoA/BoE scenario based on the concept. It could be interesting if carried well.

It was likely a deliberate mis-quotation. Like tGM's Shotts2100. Though I thought it was 1200 that tGM actually did.

You may not get the same results, putting tab A into A, rather than B, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't work just as well.

S.T, I was specifically saying that in nearly every country (with in this case, the exception of Switzerland) on the face of the planet, it is next to impossible to use direct democracy at this time.

This is mainly due to current practices on how voting is conducted and organised.

The satchel is just east and then north of the big meeting/eating room on the second level.

As for the marks, they signify that they are cursed. You can find someone to remove it in the Farie Bazaar.

I have already desisted at this point. And apologised to the members for my outburst. And mostly calmed down. But I am still not going to go back on my words, for that would not only make me out to be a liar, but I would also be commiting a fallacy. I am also going to refrain from this topic now.

Draw the line where you will, but I will stand firm. Now, did you want fries or a coke with that?
