What is the average airspeed of an unladen swallow?

Well, you did ask.

When I annoy people, I annoy the same people. You actually manage to annoy newbs, of all people! At least I often make exceptions for youth or simple lack of knowledge, but you often place your standards for them too high.

I digress nor do I presently have a gripe against you. My point is that there are next to no oppotunities to be "helpful and nice" on General, and if that is where the standard is set by, Zephyr, myself, Rowen and anyone else unfortunate enough to be canned, whatever the reason, are likely to be canned into the next millenia.

Exactly my point.

I am actually helpful and polite in the game fora and also like yourself, am generally not here.

Ze link is broken!

The Sealand one that is. We actually have quite a few small islands just off the coast that have declared independence at one time or another. Quite a few successful ones aswell.

The cattaur looks good, once again the back legs seem a bit off, but in a stylish way.

Well watch out Rowen, if *I had decided to take these further, and up to Drakey, then you would have lost all semblance of a record. In addition, he created about six very similar editor related topics.

EDIT: Grrr, dang URLs.

Drakey, ... ... I'm not going to get into this again, suffice to say asking tGM the same question, if he answers honestly, would be about the same.

I can. And did. But in this case, it was funner to play along.

I am, however not going to touch the Rosy-paedophila issue again. And will merely say

I was indulging in sarcasm(!)

And watermelonse is probably one of the more distubing. At least with goatse it's an actual mammal.

However, I'm going to stop now. Hijacking is not nice kids, m'kay?

EDIT: The sarcasm was executed in textbook fashion. Note the impossibility of seriousness in the commment. In fact, the only thing I didn't do was to bracket the exclamation mark.

EDIT2: Congratulations on 300.

Oh dear, the wosie posie returns, lock up your paedophiles!

Demonslayer is right, but beware, some people act all nice but wouldn't think twice about biting your legs off. :P Yet some are gruff and evil-looking, yet have the heart of a cute and fuzzy teddy-bear...

It could only get worse if it was pink. Oh wait a second, it is!

Bottom line, get to know people, and fon't take everything too seriously. Unless someone starts talking about watermelonse, or something very similar. Then you should be worried. ;)

EDIT: it's probably also a bad idea to call me "wonderful" or "friendly"; for a start, I have a reputation as a pain in the arse, grouch to uphold here, and should anyone I actually know stumble upon here and read something like that, well let's just say that my reputation for being a cynic who can run verbal circles round people, and is quite happy to demonstrate, among other things, wouldn't quite be the same.

I do have some standards to uphold.

Okay, when you're in the forum screen, in the upper-right is a drop-down box where you can select how far back you want to view. Alternatively you could run a search, if you are looking for something specific.

Once you have the various rituals, passwords and the onyx scepter, that is where you go to destroy the Empire Mass Teleporter.

To get the onyx scepter you must go to the imprisoned Sulfras's lair and free her/him from the chains (can't remember exactly how) run out of the town from the quickfire, then go back and get it.

I think when you go back it's hidden in the north-west of the chamber, over some lava.

Actually, TM, you have a good point. He's a mod or admin at the BoAC, isn't he? I think that speaks for itself.

However, Smirf, relax, otherwise if Drakey walks in anytime soon, then you will have the canned record.

Judging by posting times to determine who was about when canning occurred, I would say that Drakey made it independently.

*laughs*

It's not that bad.

And no, no topic hijacking has occurred. Though what ADoS meant by that, I do not know.

Calm down. If you're going to complain every time tGM insults you, then your fingers are going to get real tired, real quick. Just ignore him if he insults you.

Any particular reason why? Or just because you felt like it?

EDIT: Macrsp, considering that it's (as far as I know) Rowen that holds the record with 92, he's probably going to manage it. Either that, or he's going to over-shoot and hit banned.

Not at all. Welcome to Spiderweb. I would put in the "Leave Your..." bit, but that's getting cliched.

Feel free, if you feel the need, to start a welcome topic. It's unlikely to be hijacked so soon after this. Especially by me, considering the only other possible thing that could actually possibly hack me off is the banning of myself, or someone who does not deserve it. And with the former, any possible hijacking is... moot.

I digress. Welcome.

I think in this case, it is patently clear to me that #3 applies.

Alo, it seems that I got canned because while I spam, I do so in no greater quantity than others, and Drakey wasn't in a terribly nice mmod that day. Fun. :D

Artic: ... I repeat to you what I said to TM, when did I say that I did not care?

Drakey: ... Rowen? Persistant spam? Rowen? What? Did he use all 90-odd of those posts to spam?

quote:
Canning is basically a warning for spam. Once you're canned, if you don't start to ease up, you'll be banned. If you do start behaving more maturely, then you will not be banned. If you become a good person who contributes to the boards, your title will disappear entirely.

... So I have the option of staying canned forever or being banned? Nice. 'Cause it's nigh-on impossible for me to be a "good person who contributes to the boards". With a canned status over my head, well that's just fun. :D

And a no-spam status? Would you like me to cut off my left leg while I'm at it?

Whatever. I've hijacked this topic enough, and I'm leaving it alone. Have fun WBS. ;)
