Hmm... the re-translation seems to not work. The first sentence was "The fish in is the pony." Can't remember what the second was, and it gives no clues. The third was something like "We all have hyperactive gerbils in our socks." but I can't remember what the second half was. The last one, of course, was "Feed me the beef." Blegh. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

De vis is in de pony. Ik hoor stemmen en doe wat zij zeggen. Wij heeft iedereen hyperactieve gerbils in onse sokken en houdt van turbulente een beetje rooskleurige bloemen. Voer mij het rundvlees. In conclusion, I like this thing. So that makes four of us. Yup, you may have thought you were revealing hidden insights, unknown to any up until that point. But no. Pretty much everyone has done a google search on it by now. Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Rich, going to try and go into the City for that. Deadly, I have my ways of going about that. And last, but not least, at least Prime Minister. Kel, tell you what, you want make president in 24 years time? I'll match that. That would put me at about 39. Probably about 7 or 8 years after I get retired off (as is the norm, due to burnout), easily enough time to at least become Leader of the Oppostion, and who knows? I might manage a John Major. Just with a heck've alot less sleaze and other affiliated badness. EDIT: And I thought I might add this, just for fun; Possuo uma fazenda de bode. *stands up and takes a bow* ;) Well? What can I say? Ah I know; I couldn't have done it without all those people out there who made me insane, and made me see that playing merry heck is a sport and not a hobby, and is, in fact, very fun  . You either hate me, love me or have literally no opinion about me. As for "rabid hate campaign", I overstate, SD merely really, really doesn't seem to like me. Oh well! How will I ever live, I do not know... :) -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Slasher, I might be really cracking up, but I'm going to place a guess that this is your site. For a start, you're hyping it way too much. I'm also going to point out that the Dungeon of Exile has been up for at least a year now and it's still only half-done. Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Consider it more of a practical demonstration of civil rights, and assisting your mods in an unwelcome manner. And Ben, get with the program. There is never too much spam, while it still serves a purpose. In this case, it was very funny spam. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

I agreed with none of them. They were all very short-sighted in their planning and couldn't possibly survive. Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

RPs are just another thing here. They're not vital. They're not what you would expect. But they do happen, and when they do, they're just as much a part of the boards as the members themselves. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Once again, the sarcasm really was palpable. It has been cited that SpidWeb have been having trouble with their ISP because of going over the space limit. More eej newbs who spam the heck out of the boards cannot be good. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

No. Noir was a new storyline, following a new protagenist. To my memory it is the first and likely, only, considering it's death, to even mention Nyarlathotep. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Not quite. While the Baron Mimbledrone singlehandedly defeated the armies of plum-pudding AND ate their sultana; I was more refering to: quote:Nyarlathotep being a "character" from Noir. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Actually, you'd be surpised. My record for a good-length game was Lost Eden in 1hr 47mins. It was the first time I'd played it. Each side of Nethergate, with three/four hours a day took me just over a week each. All sidequests complete. All places visited. I just find games really easy once I understand them. I also find cheating abhorrent. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

I was, of course, being sarcastic. And I'm absolutely sure that Aran and SD were too. *thinks for a moment* ARRGH!! NOOO!! They were being serious! My world is falling down! Nobody loves me! *stops, thinks some more, remembers RL* *smiles. Laughs. Loudly* :D Listen and pay attention. If you agree, keep it to yourself, if you don't, still keep it to yourself. And SD, chiiilll. And BSC, you wouldn't by any chance have played Discworld Noir, recently? -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

I must admit, despite my loyalty, my favourite Spiderweb game is Nethergate. The only, only problem with it, was that, in my opinion, it was too short. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

S'pretty cool. I actually managed to understand the majority of it without being bored. Very interesting. Media exposure is nothing to be frightened of. Nice picture even though Alec has a point about it. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Try? Nononono... *background fades into blasted wasteland, and drones in a quiet, sagely, yet raspy voice* you either will or will not. On the one hand you may not have as fun a time, may not make as many "friends" (term used very loosely) or may not partake in a memorable argument. On the other, you have to watch your back constantly, prepare witty repetoires and actually be able to back up what you say with enough paper to bury Alec  . And he had three wheatabix this morning...  *cuts sharply back to reality* Or you could just do whatever you want, without breaking the CoC, either works. :D -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Erm... actually Avernum was the remake of the Exiles, just with completely revamped. The story's the same, just the gameplay is very different. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |
