In A3, there's an option in the Character Editor to cure the addiction. I think in E3, you're pretty much stuck with the consequences of your actions, though. It's under Add Special Items/Traits. Apparently addiction is a trait. —Alorael, who has always gone with the pack a truckload method himself.
