Happy birthday. I would bake a cake, but I'm stuck under a mountain of text-books. What did anyone give you? EDIT: I raise all my eyebrows in your general direction and accuse you of hallucination. Drakey not an admin? Did I either miss a few months or what have you been taking? EDIT2: Oh ignore me! I took it in the wrong context. He had lost his place as your favourite admin. To someone who isn't actually an admin. I'm stupid. I get it. Some very good choices. I personally used to like the Flintstones a heck of alot, but they took it off over here. Scooby-Doo (the original, before Scrappy) is pretty good too. On the subject of Anime (which does count, because it is a type of cartoon) has anyone ever seen the film Akira? The animation and dialogue wasn't great, but for it's time it was fantastic. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Well, colour me stupid if you wish, but I prefer the place when there are a few more active topics. And I really couldn't think up anything deep and philosophical, so I stuck with what I know fourth best. Cartoons. My personal favourites are Thundercats, Trap Door and The Magic Roundabout. Any takers? -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

I've played through a few times honestly and my advice to you would be to pick up everything that you find to sell it on. Generally, there's no need to buy much in the way of equipment because you find or receive better stuff along the way. Also, if you are still short, take as many jobs as you can in the direction you are going. Use the jobs dispatcher/random item shop bug if you don't find that objectionable. As is blatant, I'm from England. I live in a small town in the middle of nowhere, well, halfway between London and Cambridge. But at heart, I'm always a Hackney city boy. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

(this info is from Av2 and may be erroneous) I believe that to get into the cell to talk to him, you have got to go into the room where the regular soldiers are kept and there is a secret passage into the corridor outside his cell. Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Ugh. This computer is evil beyond belief. My laptop can run circles around this, but I can't be bothered to get it hooked up. What I am most aggrieved of, is that someone I know is shelling out an inordinate amount of money and has a 100 MEGABYTES/SECOND hook up. To say the least, I am impressed at the speed. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

One language that isn't up there is Turbo Pascal. It is one of the most simple, yet aggrieving languages out there. Gragh, it's a good thing that I'm not going to end up having to use it for A-Level Computing. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

'allo. I remember you in a very, very vague way. Are you planning on staying or just dropping in for a visit? I've got to write a darn essay for entry into the Sixth Form. And then find someone to affirm a bunch of stuff. This hypothetical person unfortunately for me, does not exist in reality. This is going to involve alot of lieing or alot of brain wracking. Ugh. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

I would, to all hypothetical questions and permutations of, merely deal with the situations how I always do. An on the spot decision, based on heavily on assumption, but most importantly, which smells right to me. It doesn't matter to me what numbers are involved or what might happen as a result. If I believe that a course of action if right, I'll do it. And so what if I decide on whether something smells right or not. If I killed someone tomorrow, that I had never met, without provocation or reason, other than they smelt so wrong as to go to that extreme, I would believe that that was not just the right course of action, but under the circumstances, the only choice of action. I don't believe in "karma" or "morals". I do, however, believe in doing what I think is the right thing to do in any situation. If that makes me a monster, so be it. If that makes me a ridiculed fool, so be it. If that makes me dead, so be it. I gladly pay the price, everytime. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

OOC: Joining. Yeah, my character's weaponry is weird, but I've been reading stuff like it recently. Bottom line, so sue me. IC: Karn slipped. He had been quite happy, perched up the tree, watching the battle unfold. What an odd woman. He just thought about how it was going, admiring good attacks and parries. He had slipped up there when the trouble began, halfway up the tree, on a sturdy branch. Quiet as a mouse. No-one noticed him slip up, that is, if they even noticed he was there, full stop. He looked at the odd reptilian creature. Weak magic, odd creature. The summoned snakes were being quickly dispatched. The reptile was getting weaker. Karn was confident that it was soon going to be over. He patted his chair, that he had perched next to him. It had served him well over the years. ....! A squirrel had taken it upon itself to gather twigs and leaves on his chair. Swinging the back of his hand at it, it jumped out of the way, overbalancing the chair. Desparately grasping, he fell with the chair... right onto the reptile's head, chair first, solidly knocking it unconcious. "Uhh... hello?" -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

41 = 2.08 Ironically, when I was at the point where I was annoying the most people at the same time, it went from just over 1.5 to 2. Then again, I really can't give a rat's arse about my rating. This has been a damn fun week. I'm tired (slept for the most of the day, but I still need sleep, so sorry if I'm not entirely coherrent (yeah, like I am anyway)) and my legs still hurt from running about left, right and centre (not to mention the cramped seating in the gallery), but I had a heck of alot of fun and I learnt a frag of alot. I'm not entirely sure what I want to do after uni. While, with any luck, I'll be qualified to do alot of stuff and there would be more than a few people happy to employ me, I still can't decide exactly what to do. I'd like to go into the City, working on the floors at LSEX and all that, but it's not exactly the easiest thing to get into. Generally, people working there retire after ten years, otherwise they get really burned out, so I suppose I could really start to go into major politics after that. One day I'll have to decide, but I'm quite happy right now to weigh up my options. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Yesterday I went to a Halloween party. There is literally nothing in the way of fancy dress shops where I live, nor do I have the materials to cobble something together. So, I did the only thing any person who doesn't mind looking like a complete fool, could. I bought a hat. But this is no ordinary hat! It is a cross between a trilby and a top hat, (wide, curved brim and tall). It feels like velvet, but is mere polyester. It is, verily, a superhat. All that and it makes me look a little like Terry Pratchett. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

There is a destroyed fort west of Formello, where nephilim are creating undead. It's the place that the mission to clear out and destroy the altar is for, in Formello. You have to use Move Mountains on a building in the south west. [ Wednesday, October 27, 2004 08:26: Message edited by: FatBatMonkey ] Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

WOOOOOOO! This is FUN. Yes, I did do a heck of alot of clerical work. BUT, I got a guided tour of "Westminster Palace" (the proper name for the Houses of Parliament). I also get to sit in on question times and debates. They're also going to try and get me in on a debate. I can never tell where I'm going because all the corridors in the building look the same. Did I mention that this is REALLY REALLY FUN?!?!!oneone!!?oneandthreequarters!! quote:You just had to bring me into this didn't you? Grrr... Well, point being that here I often aggrieve certain people. In r/l I am too polite to do so. There, I thrive on socialisation, that is my breakfast, lunch and tea. A good meal is nothing compared to the company you take it in. Online, I couldn't give a damn what someone, who, in my eyes, is an ididot, thinks. In conclusion: "what the heck do you think you know about practical psychology?" -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |
