Well in light of the day. Merry Christmas. That having been said that was just to confuse and disorientate you. What is everyone's favorite holiday? I'm going with my birthday. Simply because I get all the money, and don't have to spend anything on other people. That is why I am a selfish prick. How about you guys? Posts: 38 | Registered: Thursday, October 28 2004 07:00 |

I'm not entirely sure yet, but I think I would have to say other people's birthdays. The "other people" being friends and family. But Christmas is also good. -------------------- ahhahaha i rule u droool Posts: 756 | Registered: Monday, August 4 2003 07:00 |

National Narnian Liberation Front Day. Free Narnia! Seriously? Probably Christmas. IT's not that I celebrate it or anything, it's the factual inaccuracy of it that makes it so lovable. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

I like Independence Day and my birthday. The one, you get to use explosives, and the other, I get stuff. :D -------------------- There are three kinds of people in the world: those who think, those who think they think, and those who would rather die than think. Mmmmh. Christmas is cold... for some reason birthdays stopped being fun since I was 15... :( ... all the vacations apart from a few days I get now are those I set myself... I'd have to say weekends. Yup, that would be about it. :) Oh, and birthdays on Polaris, which usually imply a topic with dancing bananas and funny pictures. But I don't know if that counts as a holiday. -------------------- The Encyclopaedia Ermariana <-- Now a Wiki! Passover. Good food, good (and less good) family, and listening to very small people struggle valiantly with Hebrew. What else could one want? —Alorael, who definitely got his priorities right there. Thanksgiving - a great holiday for gathering with family, and so far, pretty much uncommercializable. Posts: 2242 | Registered: Saturday, April 10 2004 07:00 |

Funny that the one unique American holiday there is is the only one that seems immune to getting commercialized, isn't it? I've always thought so. Man, I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving now -- having a rather gourmandish Irish family means you'll be stuffed until Saturday on Thursday's dinner. Dammit, AM, why'd you have to go and make me hungry? :( -------------------- The biggest, the baddest, and the fattest. Posts: 2367 | Registered: Friday, June 27 2003 07:00 |

I'd say family weddings, but those aren't holidays exactly. Real holidays? I love Independence Day. -------------------- The critics agree! Demonslayer is "a five star hit!" raves TIMES Weekly! I like Halloween. It is one of the few holidays where you can actually get out an do something, ya know? I like Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc, but I have admiration for holidays that involve minimal buying of anything. Subtle holidays in which you get together with family and/or friends, and just have fun. It seems in America holidays are more of a signal to blow money than to celebrate what they are really for. So, in conclusion... Canada Day is my favourite. With their civilized society, not-capitalistic economy, outlandish spellings... and fun people, their holiday MUST be ok, right?
