RaI: Berkeley is a place where angry liberals congregate and much drugs are done.

Oh, wait, I'm having a flashback to the 60's. Scratch the drugs and double the angry liberals.

As is blatant, I'm from England. I live in a small town in the middle of nowhere, well, halfway between London and Cambridge.

But at heart, I'm always a Hackney city boy.

I currently live and go to school (high school) in Chicago, IL, USA; on the campus of the University of Chicago. With any luck, I'll be spending the next four years in either Cambridge, MA, USA, next to the Harvard bridge (that's actually MIT, not Harvard) or Hanover, NH, USA.

actually, as someone who actually lives in berkeley, i have to disagree.
the drugs are doubled since the 60's and the angry liberals are pacified by the drugs. you should definitly try it.

I would also have to say that Berkeley's reputation is rather misleading. The student body seems pretty liberal overall, but there are a fair number of conservatives here. Several of my good friends are conservative.

And the drugs are a serious problem in some parts of the city. They aren't rampant, but I live pretty near People's Park, which was once the rallying point of the hippie movement and is now the place where all the homeless congregate. It gets pretty bad in there sometimes.

Also... Waikato, Aotearoa? A Google search seems to indicate New Zealand.

I've always thought Aotearoa was a better name than New Zealand.

London - south of Toronto

Really, like, white and friendly. We hang out at the malls and drink a lot of pop. There are a lot of hundred year-old houses and a lot of trees, although recently our city motto thing-a-magig has changed from "The Forest City" to "All Mixed Up", to indicate our diversity!

300 000 people.

Oh, the weather's horrible. We're in a valley, so it's muggy and 30+ C in summer, and we're Canadian, so it's -20 in winter.
