Well, Alo, if you really want, I can try to do my best job, like the good ole days of when some managed fourty or fifty posts, in an hour. Somehow I think there might be a rebuke for that, though...

To be frank, it might have been less damaging to him, if he had been found guilty, with less of a media frenzy. Not only have they ripped open his financial accounts and heavily pryed into his private life, but they've created a spectacle over this and caused, to an extent, more hatred to him, in their portrayal of it all.

Congratulations, Dolphin. Same to you, Aran. I would put something in here, about that I really should raise up my post count and teach all you young 'uns a lesson, but I think getting canned once, was enough. :P

Aran, it's something that I'd be surprised if you were intimately familiar with. Let's just say... it's a natural cycle, relating to the female reproduction system.

I don't know, BtI, we've not been doing badly at the cricket, the last couple of years and the way the season has started this year, it looks like another good year.

Admittedly, the Rugby Union world cup or whatever it was that we won, a while back, was probably mostly just a good year and a one-off.

If it wasn't for the blatant bias on this topic starter and poll, I would have left this one to whatever bickering it might have come to. In this case, however:

There was no actual proof that he committed those crimes. Even if 8 out of 12 of the jury were his fans, that's still not enough to get anything but a mistrial, if the others had any shred of doubt.

Where did he admit to molesting children?

The child that he was supposed to have seriously molested has been involved in this sort of lawsuit, before, a few years ago. While that is not a mitigator that the testimony of that individual should not be taken into account, it should at least be considered.

Last time I checked, Worcestershire Sauce is just a hotter version of brown sauce. I don't think it always contains anchovies, but I'm not sure what the original recipe is.

Actually, it was more the timing difference between that sound and going into the ss sound. Like I said, it's drawled, slightly. They're all in the same syllable, with the second being "ter".

Certainly, Aran, if you wish to talk in an upper English accent, then by all means use WOO-ster-sher, but for most of the common dialects, it is drawled into Wuss, for the first syllable. It's like Warrick. It really isn't easy to get, unless you hear it.

(Standard phonetic i)

Worcestershire sauce is usually pronounced, with an English standard accent, something along the lines of: W'uss'ter'sher saw'ss

With the w as a standard phonetic w and the uss as in "wuss". The shire part varies across England, anyway, so there's never any hard feelings about that not being right. :)

I own it. I'd say that a reasonable percentage of the SW forum members own it. That is, of the ones that actually buy the games and aren't just here to be here. Usually, nowadays, people are more interested in BoA and the Avernum trilogy, though.

To most of the older members that have it, it's one of the better SW games, it's just judged to be quite short, compared to the others.

I used to play alot of M:TG, back in the day. I could make an 80-100 card deck using every single colour, that could beat pretty much any tactic. Took me months to put together. Black and green always used to be a pretty powerful combination, but I much preferred white/blue.

To be perfectly honest, though, I've not played in the last two years. I used to have an account on the boards, but if it still exists, then the sign-in and password are lost to the ages.
