Certainly, Aran, if you wish to talk in an upper English accent, then by all means use WOO-ster-sher, but for most of the common dialects, it is drawled into Wuss, for the first syllable. Actually, it was more the timing difference between that sound and going into the ss sound. Like I said, it's drawled, slightly. Soy sauce, vinegar, spices, and some other stuff. Does anyone know if most Worcestershire sauce contains anchovies, or if it's just the brand of the one in my fridge? Also, Worcestershire sauce is an ingredient in the barbeque sauce I'm about to post in the recipe thread, although I suppose regular soy sauce could be substituted for the W sauce. EDIT: Okay, I just tasted soy sauce and then W sauce. They're not as similar-tasting as I thought. No substituting then.
