My hair's normally a light brown, but due to being in the sun a fair bit and other stuff, it's a bit lighter than usual. Though, if we went by my eyebrows, then my hair should be really dark... Generally.. there are three facial expressions - moody, but innocent, happy-happy or looking really devious. It was likely based on Alec's desire for power, of that form.
