If it's not turn-based, it's going to be hideous, in all probability. Spiderweb games just don't lend themself to real-time. I guess, as far as story goes, we'll just have to wait and see, but this person thinks that the Vahnatai definitely did it.

Aye. I'v got to say that Marlenny is right on this one. Eventually there are always going to be games that aren't as good, but if he can put a quantity out, with a good amount of effort, eventually there'll be something to please any RPG gamer.

I still see TM, fairly often, on AIM. I guess I should ask him how he's doing, one of these days...

Well, you could make it that it's some sort of evil boss, either only becoming visible, for a second, in one frame or that you require a special enchantment, which you can only get, by completing a long, ridiculously tough quest, to see it.

Learning English standard is quite easy, once you get a hang of the fundamentals. It's usually simpler, having less tenses and so on, than other languages.

On the other hand, English slang and some of the dialects can be very tricky to understand, sometimes having no etymological root, in the language. Take the word "bling" for example, which has about five different meanings, yet very little relation to most synonyms.

I guess the temptation was just too great...

On the other hand, I wouldn't be surprised if Drakey hadn't done that, before. Christ, I'm pretty sure that most people, if they really cared about post count and were in the position to do so, probably would. :P

Problem is that it's turning into a compensation culture, these days. You've got a million and one companies being set up, just for something as little as standing on your foot. When you hear stories like people being awarded several thousand pounds, just because they fell over, it's just getting stupid. And I don't mean excessively cracked pavement-falling over, I mean just a polished floor at work and not actually taking any care, whatsoever-falling over.

It's becoming a systemic problem, where people are demanding compensation for all sorts of things. Would you honestly credit the idea for having to pay any form of compensation to someone you fire for, say, incompetence? Yet it occurs in the fun form of severance pay.

I have a few, but most are for contemplation when I'm less shatteringly tired. After all, I don't think it would be fun for a second round of that. I'm not even intending to spam. Merely to post alot, hopefully, with much relevant information and discussion.

The problem is that whatever you call a leaderboard, it's always going to be a leaderboard, so people are always going to try and be on it. Even if it's the top ten axe murderers.

As a person, I'm pale as a sheet, usually. As far as my hair goes, it does have a slight ginger tint, brought out by a light use of blonde hair dye. Maybe it's just the scanner or your monitor, though.

I think I'd buy one. But only because this is Britain and therefore manditarily cold. Even though I do look really stupid in knitted jumpers. >.>

51. Is this off-topic, yet?
Yes, very.

52. My mommy said that Artic was a scary scary man. Any comments?
It is an untrue statement.

53. You mean he's not scary?
No. We mean he's not a man.

54. *Gulp* Does anyone know what drugs Richard White was on, when he made Homeland?
He didn't make Homeland, newb.

55. I'm not a newb!

55b. I'm not a newb?
Does karma matter?

56. Maybe?
Psh.

On the bright side, you can drop your items pretty much anywhere and until there are too many, on the map, they'll all sit there. I'm surprised that anyone can get into Pentil, with the mess I left at the gate....

Mmm. To be perfectly honest, I found the Guardian the easiest to play through, on, by far. I think an important thing for most first-timers is to turn the difficulty down from normal to easy or one of the easier settings...

Or, it could just be a complete coincidence and they were all different Richard Whites. Even the really satanic one. The alternative, that Richard White is really some sort of evil super-being, trying to wreak mayhem and chaos, in a really incompetent fashion, is just too plausable.

Slogans aside, such things are becoming more common. I, personally, spend far too much time playing games. It really is as you say, Icshi. It's the "just a little more" frame of mind, where you get to one point, then you think that you'll just get to the next point, but when you're there, you just keep on going.

Falling on my arse. One of the many times, of.

Tis the problem of having dyspraxia - it's far too easy to overbalance.

Indeed and when you do finally get there, don't make the mistake that I did - the central island only has big and nasty lizards, with a little bit of loot. The actual orb is on the bodies of the dead expedition members, in the north-east, just in front of the impassible door. Though there is a passage, around, so you can get into there.

Purple Tentacle, from Day of the Tentacle - there's not many tentacles about that not only can hop about of their own accord, but can also talk, grow arms and bring thousands of copies of themself, from varying time periods, with destroying the world, with the *pop* sound effect.

Sega Megadrive.

That aside, as far as an actual computer goes, I'm a PC-user, running WinXP, despite how evil it is. I don't mind it and I don't see a good reason why I should be unsatisfied with it, when it runs what I want to run. Though, admittedly, if I try playing every game on this computer, at once, it does complain, a little. :P
