Vlish, I'm almost tempted to fight idiocy with idiocy. You are being far too harsh. Younger persons don't have the awareness. Christ, I know some adults that don't connect their actions with the result. Does it make you happy that you hurt someone's feelings? Does it make you feel big? Is that how you get your kicks to prove that you're a real, live person that doesn't take no crap from no-one? Dik made a constructive, advisory effort. On the other hand, your "aisle" is still dirty and manners need as much work. As for you, my young Canned member, I'd suggest that you calm down, edit that last post out and just take a nice break from your computer. Then, when you come back, just play nice with everyone and take note as to what they say and how they act. If you're feeling extra special, try to mimic it. They seem to love that. [ Saturday, March 11, 2006 17:44: Message edited by: Hakuna Matata ] Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Considering that I've not posted a topic in years, the feat wouldn't be much trouble. Considering that I barely look at this forum and post, at all, due to college, socials, not to mention slightly more important people/fora to engage, I'd say that the day would probably pass me by, completely. Though you honestly don't know how tempted I am to make a new topic at 11.59pm EST, that day, asking why no-one's posting any new topics then. quote:It pays to look at least a couple years older than you are. Or be English. That works too. Nonetheless, while Happy Birthday, I must wonder at you being the first person I've ever met to mark their birthday by a time. As for my personal opinion on the whole matter of birthdays.. I was born. And? Though I have the strange feeling that I'd like to be a little younger again. Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Even I saw the sarcasm on that one. Nor, Spring, do I think you possess the age to know. Nonetheless, it's good to see that you're still alive, Silv. Do stick around for a while, eh? Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Oh, hell, run for the hills. Welcome back.. I think. I would post a more joyous flourish of colour, which would reflect my earlier mood, but at the present moment, I must venture forth to emasculate myself. Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Wouldn't be surprising, at all. So many people just love playing the secret, mysterious role. Give me a couple of hours and I'll get the truth out of him. ;) Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

I think everyone, at some point or another gets accused of looking like Harry Potter. It's just one of those things. Guess it's just one of those things/random accusations. Though I could easily see potential for a new photo thread where everyone came up with pictures of Daniel Radcliff. Ah, yes. Though, I have a slightly off-topic question. Unless I've mixed my member numbers up, which, while a recurring problem, along with having to ask myself who the hell half of you people are and how long was I gone, I don't think I have, today, why was EM banned? I don't confuse the two, dear Alo. I do, unfortunately, remember times where Ash had been greatly.. mean. As for my own remarks to myself, it doth depend on who you would be. On the most part, I think I got myself upgraded to "tolerable, sometimes to the point of agreeable", a while ago. Before then was quite fun, though. At the point that I realise that my hair's getting that long, again, I also realise that I really need a damn haircut to avoid going back to my hippie roots. You look tres coolies, though. Yay for messy-style hair. :P Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

When the gent is a clear asset and amusement to the community, but should have more maturity than endless comings and goings, yes. Surely after all this time, he has, if nothing else, learnt that? Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Seriously, I suggest doing so. It's probably one of the better investments of $25 that you'll find, from this company. Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Maybe it's for the excessive amounts of homoeroticism or one of the more.. silly traits. I still don't agree with it, either way. quote:Feel priviledged. Macaulay Culkin is a studmuffin. ;) Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

I was canned for a while. If I remember, I kicked up one hell of a fuss, at the time. I might've been annoying and rather partisan in any argument, but I didn't see how I posted excessive amounts of spam. Nonetheless, after a few months, you might have the fun of being uncanned. Guess it depends what sort of mood Drakey's in, at the time he thinks about it. Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Y'know what? Alec, if you'd kindly stop leaving for good, then coming back, it'd be much appreciated. Make up your bloody mind, one way or another. Last time I was here, you had been temp-banned and were going to have "too much pride" to return. Now, you're back and leaving, again. Point? Obviously signs of a coming revolution. Prepare, my comrades, as we overthrow our oppressors! Our enemy is not the stubborn mule or the broken plough! It lies in the grey office-block suburbia of the city! Arise, for freedom! :P Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

They might have occasionally been some of the most contemptious people to get along with, but without them, we are truly lessers. We have lost part of the community. They might not have always said agreeable things. They certainly didn't try to get on with everyone. But they were every bit a valuble member as you or I. I had already tried the Exile series and, I believe, Nethergate, before I'd even arrived at the site. Definite long-term favourites. If I ever get longer than fifteen minutes in a day, again, I might even consider completing my set of G's, with the latter two or going for BoE. I did, however, definitely look into the A's, as part of being around this forum. Overall, though, it was more, having played the demos, I chose which I preferred, rather than any form of "forum pressure". Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

I played it for a good couple of hours. I swear I had RSI at the end. The graphics were crude, the terrain indistinguishable, the characterisation poor and the combat shoddy. The only thing I might say is at least it had some dialogue. Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

I remember the first time I ever looked for that. I seriously ended up going around and around it, like twelve times, because I kept on missing the exact spot. Think it's on the left-hand side, if I recall. Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Without a doubt, Nethergate. One of the first games I ever registered and definitely the most enjoyable out of all of them. The only criticism I could actually think of is that it could do with more length. But that's, technically, easily made up in the dual storylines.
