Hmm, I just definitely seem to recall this happening before and when talking about it with Drakey, it was something to do with a certain character/character string. Might be early senility though.

Okay. Got me. I can't remember Slarty's member number. :(

Though, now I think about it, 200s or earlier? In retrospect, though, I've only really seen Slarty active post #6000s

Shame about the thread. I wish I remembered the easy way of doing that to them. It was.. RC or someone like that, I last remember doing it. Can't remember. Having a memory that doesn't really extend past this morning doesn't help.

Roffles. Just roffles.

Shame about the thread... I loved that darn thing. :(

I'm not sure if you were around for this, but either a copycat or Ed himself tried to come back. However, the two accounts were banned before either could post, or neither ever were intended to post.
I'll admit, I vaguely remember Ed, but only extremely vaguely in the style that I don't really remember anyone over #6000 or so, with the exception of Slarty and Diki.

The AIM ID looks familiar, but I can't place it.. who are you?

How you can do that over the internet, I won't be certain.

That would be premature. I'll probably end up slinking away again in less than a week to have more fun with my SU. :D

I remember him being around when I first regestered. Haven't seen him around in a while, though.
I was probably most active between members #2700 and #5200. I would name dates, but I can't remember what that actually was. I just remember the people... and the debates over who'd get a specific member number every couple of months.

Slarty left
Shame, being probably the only newer member that I actually talked to.

Anyone seen S.T lately?

What did I miss?

And no, this is not spam. I'm actually being serious. Life kinda hasn't left much time for actually even taking a glance at this place, nowadays.

So, who's dead, who's left in a cloud of huff and who slept with TM in the back of my car?!

I think the Aussies will do well, this year.

England's more than likely to go and make the quarters or semis again and then die hideously through some controversy that I'll have to hear people blather on about for the next three thousand years.

Or Euro 2008.

I think from the outset this topic was destined to either turn into a spamfest or a flamefest. Former wins.

Odd how it's at its creation that I turn up. Damn spamdar! :P

I think part of becoming an oldbie is that you finally stop asking the question of whether you are one yet.

Though having a really low member number goes a long way to getting there. :P

Mmm, Trillian is a terrible pain, but to be honest, I don't think I could cope with quite how many people my list holds, just on regular AIM.

Garzahd. The other guy was just an invisible newb and Artic-fodder.

Stimpy for being born on the thirteenth day of the thirteenth month.

Dubya. If all else fails, he can nuke it.

Guy Fawkes for having an identity crisis.

The Wizard of Oz, because the ghetto version of that film was so cool.

Rentar, as not many women these days can unleash horrors upon the world and make a good mushroom brew.

X. He's one of the sorts of characters that looks like he'll just sit there and die. In actuality, I'm betting that he has secret ninja powers. >.>

Madonna. For being the bigger and older of the... two people. <.<

In the UK, I've never seen the £ sign after, to the point that I think it'd be looked upon as if a strange beast, were I to write it so.

Nonetheless, I am uncommonly used to a lot of other currencies being written with it after. In my experience, I've always almost exclusively seen such things written as, for example, 100AUD/$.

Considering that this happens to have people that I've never heard of in, yet fails to include certain still-active personalities, such as Riibu and Spy., I'm not sure that I can consider this any form of accurate description of the Spiderweb community.

On the other hand - Thur in pigtails? Tee hee. :P

I used to love Foamy, but it gets repetitive. Plus, the latest episode that I saw was just laaame.
